Vynález sa týká zariadenia pre upínanie vinutia trojfázového transformátora, u ktorého vinutie pozostáva z cievok obdížnikového tvaru a obdížnikové vinutie každej z fáz má dve bočné protilahlé strany navzájom zložené do hranolovitých telies usporiadaných na kružnici, s rozostupom 120°. Upínanie vinutia sa vykonává z jeho čelnej strany a bočné strany vinutia sa po jeho upnutí ovíjajú pásom transformátorového plechu tvoriaceho magnetický obvod. Takto navinuté prstence z pásu transformátorového plechu okolo bočných stráň vinutia tvoria magnetický obvod transformátora.
