Abstract

The cardboard container cover has a tear-open portion for initial opening. It is made of soft synthetic material with some degree of elasticity and in one piece. The cap can have an edge (3a) fitting over the ring after initial opening, and with a protrusion (3b) on the inside. This engages under a shoulder (2c) on the outer ring strip bearing against the outside of the container.
