Description

    OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention refers to a container with a closure device with a guarantee seal that incorporates notable innovations and advantages compared to the closure devices used in the types of containers described below.
  • More specifically, the invention refers to a closure device for containers, said container being of the type that has an external shell opened in its upper part and an upper lid joined to said external shell by means of a threaded coupling, in such a way that the closure device closes the upper part of the external shell.
    • BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION
  • Nowadays, one of the most normally used containers in the area of cosmetic products for their subsequent marketing are those which are made up of an external shell of a plastic material that has a cup shape and an upper lid that are mainly joined by a thread to the shell inside which there is a hermetic closure simply formed by a thin metal sheet joined to the upper edge of the shell that guarantees that it has not been used previously and keeps the properties of the cosmetic product in an optimum manner, however, it requires the use of glue types of adhesive substances for the joining of the metal sheet to the rim of the shell which with time will not be able to be used for environmental reasons.
  • In addition, none of the closure devices known to the applicant that are applied to these types of containers, said applicant being the owner of multiple application registrations related to this field of the technique, consider the existence of an invention that has the characteristics that are described in this memorandum.
    • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • This present invention has been developed for the purpose of providing a closure device for containers that solves the previously stated disadvantages, in addition providing other additional advantages that will become clear from the description that is included below.
  • This aim is reached by the container according to appended claim 1.
  • It is therefore, an aim of the invention to provide a closure device with a guarantee seal for containers in a simple and economical manner, especially for those containers that are of the type that have an external shell that is open at the top and an upper lid joined to said external shell by means of a coupling thread, in such a way that the closure device closes the upper part of the external shell, and having an additional inner body housed inside of the shell, and which has an upper seal with a discoid shape that is supported on the perimeter rim of the inner wall of the external shell and a lower band that is provided so as to fit into a perimeter groove around the external wall of a part of the neck of the exterior shell, there being an intermediate elongated part between the upper seal and the lower band joined to both parts by means of a plurality of weakened die cut projections that are easily broken by hand and where there is an elongated portion at one of the ends with an extraction tab with a fluted surface, and in which the additional inner body is fitted with a bulge that overlaps towards the outside which is designed to fit into at least one of the bands. In this way the use of glue or similar substances is avoided to obtain a watertight closure of the above described shells, in this way providing a practical and simple solution.
  • By preference the intermediate elongated part is made from a resilient plastic material.
  • In a preferred embodiment, the bulge overlaps the extreme edge that is fitted into the lower band.
  • Other characteristics and advantages of the closure device object of this present invention will become clear from a description of a preferred embodiment, but it is not exclusive, the drawings that are attached are by way of illustration but without being in any way limiting.
    • A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
    • Figure 1 shows a lateral elevation of a closed shell with a lid that has the closure device with the guarantee seal in accordance with the present invention.

    DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • As and how shown in the attached figures, a closure device with a guarantee seal for containers that have an external shell (1) that is open at the top and an upper lid (8) joined to said external shell (1) with a threaded coupling by means of a filleting carried out in an upper area (1a) that is narrower than the rest of the body, so that the closure device allows the upper part of the external shell (1) to close. It is made up from an upper seal (2) with a discoid shape that is supported on the perimeter edge of the inner wall of the external shell, in this embodiment, specifically, the upper seal (2) rests on an additional inner body (9) housed inside the shell (1) into which the product to be stored is kept. In addition, the present arrangement also has a lower band (3) that is intended to fit into a perimeter groove (4) arranged around the external wall of a part of the neck of the external shell (1), in such a way that the closure device has a diameter that is equal to or less than the part of the neck with the thread included. Between the upper seal (2) and the lower band (3) an elongated intermediate part (5) can be seen that acts by way of a seal. This is joined to both parts (2, 3) by means of a plurality of weakened die cut projections (6) (seen more clearly in figures 2 and 4) that can be easily torn on breaking the first time and in which at one of the ends of the elongated part (5) there is an extraction tab (7) that can be used by the user to carry out the ripping and extraction of the intermediate part (5).
  • The intermediate elongated part (5) is made from a resilient plastic material.
  • As can be seen in Figure 2, the external face of the extraction tab (7) has a fluted surface that makes the appropriate tearing by the user easy for its subsequent pulling.
  • As has been shown more clearly in figure 4, the additional inner body (9) is fitted with a bulge (10) that overlaps towards the outside that is intended to fit into one of the bands, overlapping the bulge (10) with an end rim that is fitted, more specifically into the lower band (3).
  • The details, shapes, sizes and other accessorial elements, likewise the materials used in the manufacture of the container of the invention can be appropriately substituted by others that are technically equivalent and do not stray away from the the scope of the invention defined by the claims that are included below.

Claims (4)

  1. A container with a closure device with a guarantee seal , said container being of the type that has an external shell (1) open in its upper part and an upper lid (8) joined to said upper external shell (1) by means of a threaded coupling, in such a way that the closure device closes the upper part of the external shell, characterised in that it has an additional internal body (9) housed within the external shell (1), and an upper seal (2) with a discoid shape that is supported on the perimeter edge of the inner wall of the external shell (1) and a lower band (3) that is intended to be fitted into a perimeter groove arranged around the external wall of a part of the neck of the external shell (1); there being an intermediate elongated part (5) between the upper seal (2) and the lower band (3) joined to both parts (2, 3) by means of a plurality of weakened die cut projections (6) that are easily broken by hand and where there is an elongated portion (5) at one of the ends with an extraction tab (7), and in which the additional inner body is fitted with a bulge (10) that overlaps towards the outside which is designed to fit into at least one of the bands.
  2. A container according to Claim 1, characterised in that the intermediate elongated part is made from a resilient plastic material.
  3. A container according to Claim 1, characterised in that the external face of the extraction tab (7) has a fluted surface.
  4. A container according to Claim 1, characterised in that the bulge (10) overlaps the extreme rim that is fitted into the lower band (3).
