Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema de seguimiento del ciclo reproductivo en ganado bovino, caprino u ovino, conformado por un lector que consiste en un equipo detector de monta y un medidor 5 de variables ambientales (DMAT), que son dispositivos de muy bajo consumo, y un nuevo arnes que optimiza la ubicacion y el ajuste del lector en el animal. En una modalidad preferida, este sistema puede hacer parte de un sistema telemetrico compuesto de tres unidades: un chip RFID, ubicado en un primer 10 animal hembra; un lector de RFID y un retransmisor de RFID, que se pueden comunicar entre si de manera alambrica o inalambrica y estan ubicados en un segundo animal, donde el dispositivo DMAT cumple las funciones de lector de RFID y ademas permite la medicion de variables ambientales en un sistema de bajo consumo de energia.
