Abstract
Sistemas y métodos para estimar la eficacia de conversión de alimento y la huella de carbono de animales productores de carne, tal como para permitir que se realicen ajustes en el alimento para animales para mejorar la producción de carne, reducir los desechos y/o reducir la huella de carbono. En realizaciones de la presente solicitud, se proporciona un sistema que integra un modelo de digestión de un alimento para animales con eficacia de aumento de peso y huella de carbono. Tales sistemas y métodos son útiles para analizar y comparar diferentes composiciones de alimento para animales que difieren entre sí en uno o más componentes y/o para analizar el efecto de la adición de un complemento de alimento sobre la eficacia de aumento de peso y/o la huella de carbono. En realizaciones, los sistemas y métodos descritos en el presente documento proporcionan un compromiso de parámetro de alimento-huella de carbono.
