Abstract

La invención se refiere a una nueva formulación oral de rápida liberación de fipronil o imidacloprid para el control eficaz de las poblaciones de insectos hematófagos. Las realizaciones de la invención se refieren a su uso por la incorporación en una formulación a través de alimentación que se puede administrar por vía oral en animales huésped, tales como aves, cabras, perros y ganado para el control rápido y efectivo de insectos hematófagos. La formulación es de acción rápida y los residuos de los productos químicos presentes en las heces sirven como larvicidas, controlando de manera efectiva las larvas recién eclosionadas.
