Abstract
La invención proporciona un artículo para la absorción de oxígeno que comprende un envase que contiene una fuente de iones solubles en agua, un removedor de oxígeno activado con agua, y una caja cilíndrica de polímero hidratado que se puede romper.En otra realización la invención proporciona un método que suministra la absorción de oxígeno oportuna y controlada que comprende proveer un artículo para la absorción de oxígeno que comprende un envase que contiene una fuente de iones solubles en agua, un removedor de oxígeno activado con agua, y una caja cilíndrica de polímero hidratado que puede romperse, ruptura de la caja cilíndrica, mediante lo cual el polímero hidratado y la fuente de iones solubles en agua entran en contacto y liberan el agua, y el agua al ser liberada activa el removedor de oxígeno.
