Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso enérgicamente eficiente para el tratamiento de biomasa vegetal, en especial la caña de azúcar, para la producción de carbohidratos y etanol, a partir de técnicas fisicoquímicas de extracción, como configuraciones más simples de molienda, minimizando así el consumo de energía durante la extracción del caldo de caña. La biomasa tratada y obtenida por esos procesos, cuando es sometida a un proceso fermentativo para la producción de etanol, aumenta el rendimiento del proceso cuando comparada con la caña de azúcar tradicional. Esta puede ser utilizada para la producción de enzimas, raciones y otros productos útiles.
