Abstract
Se proporciona un método para producir ostras tetraploides viables que incluye las etapas de: fertilizar huevos de ostras hembras triploides con espermatozoides de ostras machos diploides; impedir que los primeros cuerpos polares sean expulsados de los huevos fertilizados; y producir ostras tetraploides viables mediante el cultivo de los huevos fertilizados, que se caracteriza porque la etapa de impedir que los primeros cuerpos polares sean expulsados de los huevos fertilizados incluye poner en contacto los huevos fertilizados con citocalasina B (CB) y 6-dimetilaminopurina (DMAP).
