La invención hace referencia a formulaciones de bajo costo basadas en un aglutinante alcalino activado. El material para construcción del tipo hormigón, contiene arena, agregados finos y gruesos, agua y un aglutinante que comprende: desde 55 a 80% en peso de ceniza volátil que contiene menos del 8% en peso de CaO; - desde 15 a 40% en peso de escoria de alto horno; y un activador químico que contiene desde 0.8 a 4% en peso de silicatos alcalinos y/o desde 1.5 a 9% en peso de carbonatos alcalinos; en donde el activador químico tiene silicio para una proporción molar de álcali desde 0.1 a 0.55; un impulsor que comprende al menos una base fuerte. La invención también hace referencia a un método para la producción de tal material de hormigón para la construcción. 1.- Un material para la construcción del tipo hormigón, que contiene arena, agregados finos, agregados gruesos, agua y un aglutinante que comprende: - Del 55 al 80% en peso de ceniza volátil con un contenido inferior al 8% en peso de CAO; - Del 15 al 40% en peso de escoria de alto horno ; y, - Un activador químico que contiene: o Del 0,8 al 4% en peso de silicatos alcalinos; y, o Del 1,5 al 9% en peso de carbonatos alcalinos; o En donde el activador químico tiene una ratio molar de sílice/álcali del 0,1 al 0,55; - Un impulsor que comprende por lo menos una base fuerte. 2.- Material de construcción del tipo hormigón de conformidad con la reivindicación 1 en el que el aglutinante se mezcla con agua con una ratio de agua/aglutinante situada entre 0,3 y 0,45. 3.- Un material de construcción del tipo hormigón de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 ó 2 en el que el impulsor se disponga para establecer el pH del agua en valores situados entre 12,1 y 13,75. 4.- Un material de construcción del tipo hormigón de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 en el que el impulsor comprende por lo menos una base fuerte, la concentración molar de la(s) base(s) fuerte(s) mencionada(s) situada entre 0,05 y 2,5 con respecto al contenido del agua. 5.- Un material de construcción del tipo hormigón de conformidad con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4 en el que la(s) base(s) fuerte(s) es un álcali fuerte.The invention relates to low cost formulations based on an activated alkaline binder. Construction material of the concrete type according to claim 1 wherein the binder is mixed with water with a water / binder ratio between 0.3 and 0.45. 3.
