Abstract
The present invention provides a temporary support for wooden posts, which is light, easy and quick to install, and once installed, provides stability and superior resistance to the posts, regardless of the degree of degradation of the posts, so that it provides safety and protection for workers who require maintenance work at the top of the post. The support of the invention surprisingly provides superior stability even in totally deteriorated posts. A temporary safety support for wooden posts characterized in that it comprises two sections, one upper and one lower, which are assembled together, where the upper section of said support is formed by a clamp connected by means of three connectors to three tubular arms of the upper section, and the lower section formed by a clamp connected by means of three connectors to three horizontal tubes, each of which joins a double connector, which in turn connects to a tubular arm of the lower section, and a spherical shaft, said kneecap is supported in a basket attached to a shoe that has two holes through which the support is interlocked to the floor, where the assembly of the upper section and the lower section of the support is made by inserting one of the ends of the tubular arms of the lower section within one of the ends of the tubular arms of the upper section, obtaining a structure comprising three s tubular arms with an angle of 120 ° between them, and where the upper clamp adjusts to a variable height in the pole, while the lower clamp is located at floor level. The support of claim 1 further characterized in that the tubular arms of both the upper section and the lower section have a smooth end and another end with a threaded male, and are assembled into each other through the smooth ends.
