Abstract
1.- Un método de control de broca para uso con un aparato de perforación que comprende una broca capaz de aplicar carga giratoria y oscilatoria y un medio de control para controlar la carga rotacional y/o oscilatoria aplicada de la broca, teniendo el medio de control un medio de ajuste para variar la carga rotacional y/o oscilatoria aplicada, respondiendo dicho medio de ajuste a las condiciones del material a través del cual está pasando el taladro; el medio de ajuste además controla la carga rotacional y oscilatoria aplicada de la broca de tal manera que se logra y se mantiene la resonancia entre la broca y el material perforado con el que está en contacto, Comprendiendo el método además determinar los parámetros de carga apropiados para la broca de acuerdo con los siguientes pasos con el fin de lograr y mantener la resonancia entre la broca y el material perforado con el cual está en contacto: A) Determinar un límite de amplitud de la broca cuando resuena e interactúa con el material que está siendo perforado; B) Estimar un rango de barrido de frecuencia adecuado para cargar la broca; C) Estimar la forma de la curva de resonancia; D) Seleccionar una frecuencia de resonancia óptima en la curva de resonancia a un punto menor que el máximo en la curva de resonancia; y E) Manejar la broca con base en esta frecuencia de resonancia óptima. 2.- Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 en donde se configura la broca para impactar en el material para producir un primer conjunto de macro-grietas, posteriormente la broca rota e impacta en el material una vez más para producir un conjunto adicional de macro-grietas, y en donde los movimientos rotacionales y oscilatorios de la broca son sincronizados para promover la interconexión de las macro-grietas producidas de esta manera, para crear una zona de propagación dinámica de grietas adelante de la broca.
