Abstract

Nuevos complejos amina-quelato caracterizados porque se forman por calentamiento conjunto de por lo menos una amina orgánica con por lo menos un agente quelante, en donde la amina orgánica se selecciona del grupo conformado por: monoaminas primarias alifáticas (C1-C40); polialquilaminas; monoaminas terciarias, aminas secundarias alifáticas saturadas ó sustancialmente saturadas (C1-C40); y poliaminas seleccionadas entre alcanos de cadena recta ó ramificada que contienen dos o más grupos amino, por lo menos uno de los cuales es un grupo amino primario, y en donde el agente quelante se selecciona del grupo conformado por: ácidos carboxílicos, ácidos aminocarboxílicos; ácidos fosfónicos; polifosfatos; 1,3 dicetonas; fenoles; aminofenoles; oximas; compuestos que contienen azufre; compuestos macrocíclicos; ácidos policarboxílicos; oligómeros del ácido acrílico con terminales insaturadas; otros compuestos poliméricos; y las sales de los anteriores, según sea apropiado. Un método para la extracción de petróleo crudo pesado de una formación petrolífera que tiene por lo menos un orificio de pozo que penetra dicha formación y en comunicación fluida con ésta, método que comprende los pasos de:(a) inyección dentro del pozo y formación de una cantidad de un complejo amina-quelato reductor de la viscosidad acorde con la Reivindicación 1;(b) permitir que el complejo amina-quelato se disperse dentro de la formación; y(c) extracción del petróleo con viscosidad reducida.New amine-chelate complexes characterized in that they are formed by joint heating of at least one organic amine with at least one chelating agent, wherein the organic amine is selected from the group consisting of: aliphatic primary monoamines (C1-C40); polyalkylamines; tertiary monoamines, saturated or substantially saturated aliphatic secondary amines (C1-C40); and polyamines selected from straight or branched chain alkanes containing two or more amino groups, at least one of which is a primary amino group, and wherein the chelating agent is selected from the group consisting of: carboxylic acids, aminocarboxylic acids; phosphonic acids; polyphosphates; 1.3 diketones; phenols; aminophenols; oximes; sulfur-containing compounds; macrocyclic compounds; polycarboxylic acids; acrylic acid oligomers with unsaturated terminals; other polymeric compounds; and the salts of the foregoing, as appropriate. A method for extracting heavy crude oil from an oil formation that has at least one well hole that penetrates said formation and in fluid communication with it, a method comprising the steps of: (a) injection into the well and formation of an amount of a viscosity reducing amine-chelate complex according to claim 1; (b) allowing the amine-chelate complex to be dispersed within the formation; and (c) oil extraction with reduced viscosity.
