Abstract
Un método para determinar la densidad de formacionessubterráneas alrededor de un hoyo, que comprende: a) irradiar las formaciones con neutrones de alta energía desde dentro del hoyo; b) detectar rayos gamma en el hoyo como resultado de la irradiación con neutrones de alta energía; y c) analizar los rayos gamma detectados para determinar la densidad de las formaciones. Un método para determinar la densidad de formaciones subterráneas que rodean un hoy, el cual comprende: a) crear una fuente de rayos gamma en las formaciones, irradiando las formaciones dentro del hoyo; b) detectar rayos gamma de la fuente en el hoyo; y c) analizar los rayos gamma detectados para determinar la densidad de las formaciones. 1Un aparato para determinar la densidad de formaciones subterráneas alrededor de un hoyo, que comprende: a) una estructura de herramienta; b) fuente neutrónica de alta energía en la estructura para irradiar las formaciones desde dentro del hoyo; c) un detector que detecte rayos gamma en el hoyo como resultado de la irradiación de las formaciones con neutrones de alta energía; y d) medios para analizar los rayos gamma detectados con el fin de determinar la densidad de las formaciones.
