Abstract

Una seda dental texturizada que comprende un hilo texturizadoteniendo un espesor de alrededor de 1 mm a 4 mm en el relajamiento y alrededor de un espesor de alrededor de 0.1 a alrededor de 0.4 mm a una tensión de más de alrededor de 10 gramos. Un método para hacer una seda floja dental texturizada que comprende recubrir un hilo texturizado con un agente para estabilizar dicho hilo del deshilachado y el deshilado, dicho recubrimiento se aplica a dicho hilo y se fragúa sobre el mismo mientras que dicho hilo está en una condición esencialmente relajada sobre su longitud completa. Un aparato para recubrir un hilo para producir una seda floja texturizada que comprende: a) medios para entregar un hilo texturizado a un recipiente conteniendo una solución de recubrimiento; b) medios asociados con dicho recipiente para impulsar dicho hilo texturizado y para que dicho hilo texturizado haga contacto con la solución recubridora en dicho recipiente; c) medios para impulsar dicho hilo texturizado desde dicho recipiente y hasta una sección de fraguado de recubrimiento; y d) medios para fraguar dicha solución de recubrimiento sobre dicho hilo texturizado, dichos medios para fraguar dicha solución de recubrimiento estando localizados debajo del vaso conteniendo dicha solución de recubrimiento.
