Abstract

Una toalla sanitaria comprende un cuerpo absorbente (1) que esta encerrado entre láminas de recubrimiento externas, impermeables a los líquidos (3) y una lámina de recubrimiento interna permeable a los líquidos (2) que descansa próxima al cuerpo del usuario cuando la toalla esta en uso, caracterizado en que la toalla sanitaria incluye dos cuerpos laterales (8, 9) que se extienden hacia el exterior de los bordes laterales del cuerpo absorbente (1) o de ambos lados del mismo, el menos en la parte central de la toalla, y están unidos a, al menos, a la lámina de recubrimiento externa (3), e incluyen adicionalmente elásticos preestirados (10) que forzan a moverse los bordes laterales de los cuerpos laterales distantes del cuerpo absorbente uno hacia el otro sobre ese lado de la toalla sanitaria que descansa distante del usuario cuando la toalla esta en uso.
