Abstract

Una enzima de detoxificación de albicidina aislada capaz deinactivar la albicidina irreversiblemente.Un método para reducir sustancialmente o inhibir el desarrollo de la enfermedad de hojas quemadas en una planta o pedúnculo de ella, dicho método comprende el paso de administrar una enzima de detoxificación de albicidina a la planta o pedúnculo de ella.Un método degeneración de plantas transgenéticas sustancialmente resistentes a la albicidina y a la enfermedad de hojas quemadas que incluye los pasos de introducción y expresión de una secuencia nucleótide que codifica una enzima de detoxificación de albicidina en la planta, parte de la planta o célula de planta y cultivo de la planta, parte de la planta o célula de la planta para generar la planta transgenérica.
