Abstract

La presente invención se refiere en general a métodos para determinar la secuencia de aminoácidos de una proteína. En particular, la presente invención se refiere al uso de dimetilación selectiva de la posición y cromatografía de líquidos-espectrometría de masas para mejorar la señal de péptidos del terminal N y cambiar la señal de los péptidos del terminal N y los iones b correspondientes, para así facilitar una determinación de la secuencia de péptidos del terminal N.
