Abstract

Las realizaciones incluyen métodos para un equipo de usuario, UE, configurado para comunicarse con una red inalámbrica mediante un grupo de celdas maestras, MCG, y un grupo de celdas secundarias, SCG. Dichos métodos incluyen entrar en un modo de energía reducida para el SCG en respuesta a la recepción de un primer comando a través del MCG o el SCG; y mientras está en el modo de energía reducida para el SCG y en un modo activado para el MCG, realizar la detección de fallas de haz, BFD, para el SCG y abstenerse de realizar una o más operaciones de gestión de haz para el SCG. En algunas realizaciones, el UE puede realizar varias operaciones después de detectar una falla de haz en el SCG mientras está en el modo de energía reducida para el SCG. Otras realizaciones incluyen métodos complementarios para nodos de red configurados para proporcionar el MCG o el SCG, y los UE y los nodos de red estando configurados para realizar dichos métodos.
