Abstract
Un sistema de comunicaciones para habilitar y deshabilitar la transmisión temprana de datos (EDT) comprende equipos de usuario (UE) y un nodo de red. El nodo de red está configurado para recolectar mediciones en relación con la información de una celda, determinar si se permite que los UE en la celda utilicen EDT para transmitir datos antes de completar un procedimiento de acceso y enviar al UE en la celda un mensaje que comprende una indicación EDT que instruye si se permite que los UE en la primera celda utilicen EDT en base a la determinación. El UE está configurado para iniciar una transmisión hacia el nodo de red, recibir el mensaje que comprende la indicación EDT desde el nodo de red y determinar si se permite que EDT sea utilizado en la celda en base a la indicación EDT. El sistema de comunicaciones puede tener la capacidad de habilitar y deshabilitar EDT para el UE en base al estado de la celda, de tal modo que el sistema de comunicaciones puede evitar una pérdida de recursos causada por una indicación temprana en Msg1 o una autorización de enlace ascendente mayor en Msg2 y mejorar aún más el rendimiento de la red.
