Abstract
El presente desarrollo comprende un sistema de iniciación electrónico programable y no explosivo, cuyo objetivo es iniciar la tronadura de roca de manera controlada y segura. Su aplicación es principalmente para el área de la Minería y Obras Civiles. Este sistema resuelve un tema sensible en la industria, como es, la no activación de los dispositivos en el momento de la tronadura (tiros quedados) y disminuir los riesgos de operación en las labores de fragmentación dando continuidad a las faenas en terreno. Lo anterior se fundamenta en que este sistema permite tiempos precisos de operación para el control de vibraciones, a través de retardos definidos previamente, identifica en forma inmediata los iniciadores que no están operativos por fallas de línea o en conexiones, al no tener componentes explosivos, se pueden programar en forma remota si el usuario lo requiere, y finalmente cada iniciador es programado como único e irrepetible.
