Abstract
RESUMEN Un aparato para evaluar los sistemas de manipulación de fluidos multifase utilizados en la producción de petróleo y gas permite al personal de prueba observar visualmente la prueba. El aparato está construido de carcasas y/o revestimientos hechos parcial o completamente de un material transparente. El material transparente permite la observación visual sin ayuda del régimen de flujo del fluido que fluye a través del equipo de manipulación de fluidos. Esto elimina la mayoría de las suposiciones que por lo general se necesitan hacer sobre qué tan bien funciona el equipo. La capacidad de observar claramente los regímenes de flujo sin asistencia permite un estudio preciso de los efectos individuales del equipo, la formación e interacciones de vórtices, los efectos de velocidades diferentes de flujo de fluido, la optimización de vías de flujo, una nueva mezcla y los regímenes de flujo externos a un sistema, la creación de bolsón y otros parámetros conocidos por las personas del oficio de nivel medio.
