Abstract
Se utiliza el análisis comparativo de imágenes para determinar el caudal de fluidos tales como, por ejemplo, fluido de perforación, fluido de compleción o hidrocarburos. A medida que el fluido corre a través de un conducto o canal abierto, un dispositivo para la medición de caudales de flujo ilumina la superficie del fluido. Luego se adquieren imágenes de las características de superficie en común con un cierto intervalo de tiempo. De este modo se obtienen mediciones sin contacto del caudal de fluidos opacos y no opacos.
