Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un modelo didáctico diseñado para enseñar diferentes especialidades de la odontología, constituyendo un único simulador dental compuesto por arcos dentales que pueden ser intercambiados para cumplir con las prácticas de formación de la educación odontológica. El modelo simulador dental tiene como componente principal un conjunto de arcos dentales intercambiables, en donde cada arco está diseñado para simular diversas denticiones del grupo que comprende: para dentición de dientes deciduos, dentición de dientes permanentes, dentición mixta, apiñamiento de dientes permanentes, apiñamiento de dientes deciduos. Además, el modelo dental incluye una base superior y una base inferior, que simulan el maxilar y mandíbula humana, en las cuales se acoplan a presión los arcos dentales intercambiables. Los arcos dentales intercambiarles comprenden piezas dentales (dientes), en donde dichas piezas dentales comprenden coronas hechas de melamina, dichas coronas tienen diferentes configuraciones para simular caries, fracturas o material adherido, en donde las coronas se adhieren a raíces hechas con manufactura aditiva y un postproceso con resina de impresión 3D y material radiopaco tipo yodado para que sean reflejadas en radiografías, dichas raíces incluyen huecos que simulan la cavidad del nervio dental.
