Abstract
Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para mediciones relajadas de interfrecuencias. En algunas realizaciones, un método realizado por un dispositivo inalámbrico para relajar las mediciones de interfrecuencias incluye recibir una indicación de que las frecuencias deberían tener mediciones relajadas de interfrecuencias; y relajar las mediciones de interfrecuencias para las frecuencias indicadas. De esta manera, en algunas realizaciones, el dispositivo inalámbrico relaja las mediciones en esa frecuencia solo cuando la red indica que se pueden aplicar mediciones relajadas a la interfrecuencia. Esto implica que se conservan el rendimiento y la movilidad de las mediciones heredadas. Las mediciones se pueden relajar cuando la red detecta una cobertura irregular en ciertas frecuencias. Además, la red tiene un control explícito sobre la relajación, por ejemplo, la red puede indicar cuánto se pueden relajar las mediciones, es decir, puede haber una garantía de un rendimiento de medición mínimo. El dispositivo inalámbrico puede volver a los requisitos de medición heredados cuando se detecta una célula adecuada o se realiza una nueva selección de célula.
