Abstract
Un dispositivo para accionar una herramienta de fondo de pozo incluye un alojamiento que tiene una estructura superficial sobre una superficie externa del mismo. La estructura superficial tiene un estado inactivo y un estado activo. En el estado inactivo, el dispositivo puede viajar a través de estructuras de asiento montadas en una tubería de pozo y experimentará un impacto físico que tiene un nivel de impacto que supera un nivel de umbral cuando pasa a través de cada una de las estructuras de asiento. En el estado activo, el dispositivo se puede asentar en un asiento seleccionado en la tubería de pozo. Un sensor está encerrado en el alojamiento y se configura para generar una señal en respuesta al impacto físico. Un controlador en el alojamiento cuenta el número de impactos y activa la estructura superficial cuando el número de impactos alcanza un valor seleccionado.
