Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método in vitro para evaluación funcional de progenitores hematopoyéticos que permite evaluar la capacidad de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas (CPH) para responder a factores de crecimiento y proliferar en los productos que se usan para el trasplante de CPH, sin necesidad de hacer cultivo celular. El método desarrollado puede emplearse para la cuantificación funcional de progenitores hematopoyéticos pretrasplante y así mismo, puede ser usado como ensayo funcional o biomarcador funcional pronóstico de leucemia u otros tumores. El método podría usarse con fines de separar CPH de mezclas celulares y recolectarlas para su uso en terapia celular.
