Abstract
Proceso de fabricación de puzolana con cambio de color y puzolana así obtenida La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de fabricación de puzolana artificial que tiene el color final gris. A fin de realizar los procesos de la manera deseada, la atmósfera del horno deberá contener una baja concentración de oxígeno y la presencia de agentes reductores. Sin embargo, la presencia de monóxido de carbono en el escape del horno no es deseable, debido a los impactos ambientales y al aumento en el consumo de calor específico del horno. Por lo tanto, el proceso descrito en esta invención comprende las siguientes etapas: calentamiento (1), que consiste en calentar las materias primas a una temperatura entre 100 y 350° C hasta el secado del material a una fracción de masa de humedad del 0% hasta el 5% (base húmeda); mezcla (2), que consiste en mezclar las materias primas secas del proceso de calentamiento con la proporción correcta de combustible, del 1% al 5% en fracción de masa, de acuerdo con la concentración de hematita presente en la materia prima; calcinación (3), que consiste en calentar la mezcla de combustible y materias primas a una temperatura entre 700 y 900° C, con una concentración de oxígeno entre el 1% y el 5% y, finalmente, enfriamiento (4), que consiste en una etapa inicial de rápida disminución de la temperatura de la puzolana hasta 600° C y una etapa final de disminución lenta de la temperatura de la puzolana hasta 120° C.
