Abstract

RESUMEN Se describen métodos, sistemas y dispositivos para la comunicación inalámbrica. Una estación base puede transmitir una señal de sincronización utilizando una fracción de banda estrecha de un ancho de banda de una celda. La señal de sincronización puede incluir una secuencia repetida durante varios períodos de símbolo utilizando un código de cubierta para permitir la adquisición de celdas de bajo consumo de energía. Un equipo de usuario (UE) que recibe la señal de sincronización puede determinar la información de frecuencia y temporización para una celda mediante la realización de una combinación ponderada y la acumulación de los procedimientos de baja complejidad de autocorrelación y correlación cruzada de la señal de sincronización. Los procedimientos de correlación de complejidad reducida se pueden habilitar con base en el uso del código de cubierta y una secuencia de base. En algunos casos, la correlación cruzada puede realizarse en múltiples frecuencias de muestreo.
