The raw materials and production process of the existing hollow brick are basically the same as those of the common solid brick, and the blank is manufactured by adopting an extrusion molding method. The blank making method of extrusion molding determines that the inner holes of the existing hollow brick are all through holes, and has higher requirement on the plasticity of raw materials. The inner holes of the existing bearing hollow bricks (vertical hole hollow bricks) are all small and many in order to reduce mortar loss and leakage and ensure a certain voidage.
The current situation of domestic and foreign load-bearing hollow bricks can be seen as follows:
(1) sintered load-bearing hollow brick
1977 edition of Chinese architecture industry Press
(2) Building Material
The teaching materials are tried out by advanced schools, and 7-month edition 1985 of Chinese architecture industry publishing society
(3) "the opinions of several links in the production and popularization of hollow bricks" and "the introduction of the technology and production equipment of hollow clay bricks abroad" in "brick and tile" journal of 1986, 4 th year.
The blind hole bearing hollow brick reduces the requirement on plasticity of raw materials, reduces molding power consumption, reduces the requirements on conditions such as manufacturing process, technology and the like, and achieves the aim of easy acceptance by production and use departments and willing popularization.
This blind hole hollow brick: (1) the external dimension can adopt the standard of the bearing hollow brick of the building material industry part or be determined according to the requirement.
(2) The shape, size and void fraction of the internal bore can be varied as desired.
(3) And may be a sintered brick or a non-sintered brick.
The main differences and the advantages of the blind hole bearing hollow brick and the existing bearing hollow brick are as follows:
(1) the inner hole is arranged in the mode of being 'small but much' contrary to the 'small but much' of the existing hollow brick, but 'large but little'. The aperture is larger, the number of the holes is smaller, the aperture can be between 1.5 cm and 5 cm, and the number of the holes is between 6 and 30. The hole is big, the forming resistance is small under the condition of the same hole rate, so the power consumption is low, the holes are few, the design, the manufacture and the maintenance of production equipment and a core mould are simplified, the process requirements, the operation requirements and the management requirements are correspondingly reduced, so the arrangement of the big and few inner holes ensures that the hollow brick is easy to manufacture, the low cost is realized, and the void rate can be conveniently improved.
(2) The inner hole is a blind hole with one closed end or a semi-blind hole with a small hole reserved at the closed position, as shown in the attached drawing, 1 is a brick body, 2 is a hole, (the left side hole is a blind hole, and the right side hole is a semi-blind hole). When the hollow brick is used, the non-porous surface (or semi-blind hole surface) is arranged on the upper surface, the traditional construction method of spreading the mortar which is the same as that of the solid brick can be adopted, and the hollow brick is easy to be accepted by the building department.
(3) In order to make blind holes, the blind holes are formed by pressing instead of extrusion. The pressing method has simple equipment, easily mastered production technology and better molding appearance quality.
(4) The semi-dry raw material can be adopted, the moisture content of the finished blank is low, the drying shrinkage is small, the yield is high, the requirement on the plasticity of the raw material is low, the drying period is short, and the fuel consumption is low.
The load-bearing hollow brick with blind holes can be formed by pressing a semi-dry raw material with lower water content and then drying, sintering or maintaining the semi-dry raw material.
