背景技术
随着细菌、真菌、病毒等微生物引发的疾病通过口腔传播的迅度发展，加上在市场经济条件下，人口流动极快和普遍，普通家庭，特别是各地宾馆，提供客人饮水的大都是普通瓷口杯或其它非一次性的杯具，而这些杯具很少消毒，这给传播疾病创造了条件。例如：流感、艾滋病、化脓性链球菌等。
实用新型内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种在烧水的同时又可给水杯消毒的电热水器。
本消毒灭菌电热水器由电热水器和消毒室两部分构成，消毒室位于热水器的顶部，它由热水器盖和密封罩构成，密封罩上开有排气孔，扣在热水器盖上，热水器盖上开有若干进气孔和排气凹槽。
使用时，给热水器内加入水，盖上盖，水杯扣在热水器盖上的进气孔上，杯边跨在排气凹槽上，扣上密封罩，开始加热烧水。待水烧开3-5分钟后，即完成消毒过程，同时就可饮用烧开的水。
本消毒灭菌电热水器的工作原理是：当水被烧开后，蒸汽通过进气孔进入消毒室内，使其中处于高温状态。在100℃的湿热环境下，经3-5分钟可有效地杀灭大多数细菌和真菌，特别是病毒1分钟即可。当水杯内的压力过高时，蒸汽可通过排气凹槽排出，当消毒室的压力过高时，蒸汽可通过其上的排气孔排出。
本消毒灭菌电热水器结构简单、使用方便，在烧水的同时就可以完成给水杯消毒的工作。

具体实施方式
实施例(见图)：
本消毒灭菌电热水器由电热水器和消毒室两部分构成，消毒室位于热水器7的顶部，它由热水器盖5和密封罩2构成，密封罩2上开有排气孔1，(防止密封室内压力过高)扣在热水器盖5上，热水器盖5上开有若干进气孔6(使水蒸汽进入杯内和密封室内)和排气凹槽4(防止水杯内压力过高)。使用时水杯3放在孔6上。

1.一种消毒灭菌电热水器由电热水器和消毒室两部分构成，其特征在于消毒室位于热水器的顶部，它由热水器盖和密封罩构成，密封罩上开有排气孔，扣在热水器盖上，热水器盖上开有若干进气孔和排气凹槽。
