Abstract

本实用新型提供一种线缆连接器组件(1),该线缆连接器组件包括本体(10)及若干收容于本体的电路板模块(20)。其中,本体具有若干沿第一方向延伸的通道(14),每个电路板模块(20)具有收容于相应通道的电路板(22)、若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆(23)及固持线缆的线缆夹(25)。该线缆夹具有从线缆(23)两侧固持线缆的第一固定片(251)及第二固定片(252),另线缆夹进一步设有穿孔。第一锁固元件沿第二方向插入线缆夹的穿孔(266),将电路板模块固定于一起,因此施加于线缆的拉力会得到适当的缓冲。

线缆连接器组件
【技术领域】
本实用新型有关一种线缆连接器组件,尤指一种具有若干用于高速传输信号的电路板的线缆连接器。
【背景技术】
随着通讯及计算机技术的发展,电子设备之间需要用高密度电连接器连接,以在电子设备之间建立大量数据传输通道。每个电连接器需设有若干电路板,以改善不同电特性的信号在电连接器中的传输。如线缆连接器,高密度电连接器已被广泛应用于服务器、路由器以及需要数据高速处理与传输设备的内部连接系统。
美国专利第6,217,364号揭示了一种线缆连接器组件,该线缆连接器组件包括本体及线缆。其中,本体由两个大致相同的绝缘部组成,线缆具有若干芯线,所述芯线与包覆成型于扁平片状部的导电端子连接。绝缘部形成设有前端口及后端口的内部收容孔。片状部彼此紧密平行排列,并设置于一个绝缘部的内部收容孔中,因而,线缆可从收容孔的后端口突伸出,另一绝缘部可封闭包覆线缆与片状部的组合。两个绝缘部是通过螺丝与螺母固持在一起,从而将线缆与片状部的组合固定在本体中。但是,上述方法不但使线缆连接器组件的装配过程变得复杂,而且,两个绝缘部的配合亦会由于运输及其它因素所引起的振动发生松动,因此线缆与片状部的组合不能稳固固持在本体中。从而影响线缆连接器组件与对接连接器的电性连接。
美国专利第5,924,899(下称’899号专利)及第6,102,747号各揭示一种线缆连接器组件的结构。请参阅’899号专利的第4a-4c图及第5a-5c图,线缆连接器组件包括本体及若干模块。其中,本体上设有若干平行插槽,所述模块收容在插槽中。每个模块具有电路基板、收容部及绝缘刺破部。其中,收容部具有若干叉状端子并设置在基板的一端,绝缘刺破部设置在基板的另一端,该绝缘刺破部具有绝缘刺破端子,且该绝缘刺破端子与线缆的导体相连接。每个模块均是通过与本体的过盈配合固持在本体。当将线缆连接器与对接连接器分离时,需对线缆的裸露端施加拉力,该拉力会使模块相对在本体向后位移。因此,当线缆连接器组件与对接连接器再次配合时,上述位移即会影响线缆连接器组件与对接连接器的电性配合。而且,该种线缆连接器组件需用额外工具将线缆束起,从而使生产成本增加。
因此,需要一种改良的线缆连接器,以克服现有技术的不足。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种线缆连接器组件,该线缆连接器组件具有应力缓冲装置,以缓冲施加于线缆的拉力。
本实用新型的主要目的是通过以下技术方案来实现的:本实用新型提供一种线缆连接器组件,该线缆连接器组件具有本体、若干电路板模块及第一锁固元件,该本体设有若干沿本体的第一方向平行延伸的通道,电路板模块包括收容于本体相应通道的电路板、若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆及将线缆固持在一起的线缆夹,其中该线缆夹包括从线缆两侧夹持线缆的第一固定片、第二固定片及至少一沿垂直于本体第一方向的第二方向延伸的穿孔,第一锁固元件沿第二方向插入线缆夹的穿孔,将电路板模块固定于一起。
比较现有技术,本实用新型具有如下优点:本实用新型的线缆连接器组件的线缆通过线缆夹夹持,且线缆夹可通过第一锁固元件固持在一起,因此实加于线缆的拉力会得到适当的缓冲,从而,可确保线缆连接器组件与对接连接器的可靠电性连接。
下面结合附图及实施例对本实用新型作进一步描述:

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型线缆连接器1具有本体10、若干收容于本体10的电路板模块20及两片式后盖30。其中,所述本体10及后盖30用于固持电路板模块20。
请参阅图3及图4所示,本体10为矩形,其具有前对接面100、位于前对接面100的前对接口11、后面102及位于后面102的收容室12,且前对接面100面向对接连接器(未标示)。本体10设有若干从前到后平行延伸的通道14及若干凹槽16,通道14亦即沿本体10的第一方向延伸。其中,该通道14使前对接口11与收容室12连通,各凹槽16与对应通道14排成一行。本体10还包括若干槽道17、若干肩部170及若干开孔18,其中,槽道17分别设置在本体上表面104及下表面(未标示),肩部170是从相应槽道17向下凹陷形成,开孔18沿垂直于通道14延伸的方向设置于本体10的两相对侧面106。
请参阅图5至图8所示,电路板模块20包括电路板22及若干与电路板22电性连接的线缆23。电路板22具有绝缘基板、若干信号传输线路(未标示)、若干接地线路(未标示)、设置在电路板22后端的凹口220及与本体10的开孔18并齐设置的通孔222。其中,绝缘基板是由普通电路基板材料如FR4等制成,信号传输线路设置在基板的一个侧面,以为线缆连接器组件1提供信号传输路径,接地线路设置在基板的两侧面。每个电路板模块20的线缆23设置在同一平面,且具有与电路板22的信号传输线路焊接的导体230,
电路板模块20进一步包括接地片24及固定线缆23的线缆夹25。接地片24为铜片,其设置于焊接在电路板22的导体230上面,以为导体230提供EMI遮蔽。线缆夹25包括第一固定片251及第二固定片252,且所述第一固定片251及第二固定片252均由金属片冲压成型。第一固定片251设有若干收容腔253及若干位于相邻收容腔253之间的桥部254,且该桥部254于相对端部设有一对开口255,第二固定片252包括主体部256及两排从主体部256的两侧向上延伸的尾部257。通过将第二固定片252的尾部257锁扣于第一固定片的相应开口255,线缆夹25可从两侧夹固线缆23的末端。由于第二固定片252的主体部256可对线缆23的末端施加一定压力,故线缆23的末端被部分收容于第一固定片251的收容腔253中。而且,第二固定片252的主体部256对线缆23的末端施加的压力可大大降低线缆23的阻抗,例如,从100欧姆降至80欧姆。第一固定片251及第二固定片252还设有若干穿孔266,该穿孔266与相邻线缆23间的间隙27并排设置。
请参阅图3及图4所示,后盖30包括分离的主体,该分离的主体具有第一盖体31及第二盖体32。第一盖体31及第二盖体32均具有上面板330、下面板332及位于上面板330与下面板332之间的侧面板334,且第一盖体31与第二盖体32分别设有一对从上面板(330)、下面板(332)的前缘延伸的扣持部336、若干销接柱337、与销接柱337相对应的收容孔338及贯穿侧面板的锁固孔300。所述销接柱337及收容孔338是用于联接第一盖体31与第二盖体32,另,于扣持部336的自由端部设有突起3360。后盖30的分离式设计有助于将后盖30设置并组装在本体10上。
在组装过程中,电路板模块20从本体10的后面102沿第一方向插入通道14,当电路板22的前端邻接本体10的前对接面100时,电路板22被收容于通道14,且电路板22的上端部与下端部固持于凹槽16内。第一锁固元件40插入线缆夹25的穿孔266,亦即沿垂直于第一方向的第二方向插入穿孔266,将电路板模块20锁固在一起,以达到应力释放的功能。第二锁固元件50通过本体10的开孔18插入电路板22的通孔222,并锁固于本体10上,当线缆连接器组件1与对接连接器对接时,第二锁固元件50可使电路板模块20保持在原始位置,而不会相对于本体10发生向后的位移。因此,该第二锁固元件50可更稳固地将电路板模块20固定于本体10。
当第一盖体31及第二盖体32的扣持部336的突起3360与槽道17的肩部170机械配合时,后盖30即被组装于本体10。同时,销接柱337与对应收容孔338过盈配合,将第一盖体31与第二盖体32联接起来。后盖30围绕电路板模块20的线缆夹25设置,第三锁固元件60插入后盖30的锁固孔300,将线缆夹25稳固固持于后盖30。
由于通过第二锁固元件50及第三锁固元件60可将电路板模块20稳固固持于本体10及后盖30,因此,可确保线缆连接器组件1与对接连接器的可靠电性连接。另,线缆23通过线缆夹25夹持,且线缆夹25可通过第一锁固元件40固持在一起,因此施加于线缆23的拉力会得到适当的缓冲。

Claims (7)

1.一种线缆连接器组件,其具有本体、若干电路板模块及第一锁固元件,该本体设有若干沿本体的第一方向平行延伸的通道,电路板模块包括收容于本体相应通道的电路板、若干与电路板机械电性连接的线缆及将线缆固持在一起的线缆夹,其特征在于:该线缆夹包括从线缆两侧夹持线缆的第一固定片、第二固定片及至少一沿垂直于本体第一方向的第二方向延伸的穿孔,第一锁固元件沿第二方向插入线缆夹的穿孔,将电路板模块固定于一起。
2.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:第一固定片设有若干开口,第二固定片上设有若干尾部,该尾部可锁扣在开口中,将第一固定片与第二固定片连接。
3.如权利要求2所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:第一固定片设有若干收容腔,通过第二固定片对线缆施加一定压力,该收容腔可部分收容线缆。
4.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:电路板模块进一步具有设置于线缆导体上面的接地片。
5.如权利要求4所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:接地片是铜片。
6.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:本体设有沿第二方向延伸的开孔,电路板模块的电路板具有与本体开孔并齐设置的通孔。
7.如权利要求6所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:该线缆连接器组件进一步包括第二锁固元件,该第二锁固元件通过本体的开孔插入电路板模块的通孔,并固定于本体。
