建筑工地移动式的圆盘锯在操作时较少设有安全防护罩，有的用木板临时钉一个防护罩，木制的容易损坏，这样一来容易在操作上出现安全事故伤害人身安全，特别是在锯解木方和木板时锯齿断了，就顺着转动方向的惯性向操作者飞去，将导致严重安全事故的发生。

为解决上述现有技术存在的问题，本实用新型提出一种圆盘锯安全防护罩，由刀口型衬板、防护罩和连接板组成，其特征是衬板和连接板钢度好，衬板内边磨成刀口形，防护罩比锯齿大，为圆弧型，连接板与防护罩固定连接。
可在衬板和连接板上开设螺孔。
将刀口型衬板焊接在锯台面板上，与防护罩的连接板相连接，这样在操作时，就轻松地把锯开的木方和层板推出去，连接板钢度好，增加防护罩的强度，在防护罩向外伸时不往下掉，在锯木板和木方时不向两边摆动，安装了防护罩后，确实防止木屑、锯灰和断锯齿向人飞溅，在衬板和连接板上开设螺孔，可根据需要调节防护罩与操作台面的高度，做到安全生产，工人可放心操作。
