Abstract

本实用新型公开一种具有卡扣装置的电连接器的取置盖,其包括具有上、下表面的纵长平板,在该平板相对两末端处设有自下表面延伸的两侧臂,每一侧臂设有倒钩与电连接器的卡扣装置配合,从而将取置盖组装在电连接器上并保护卡扣装置。在平板的上表面中间部及两末端之间开设有两凹槽,中间部沿此凹槽相对于两末端轴向运动,驱动末端使侧臂与卡扣装置分离,从而将卡扣装置自电连接器上释放。该取置盖的设置不仅便于对电连接器的操作,也可实现可靠保护卡扣装置的功能。

具有卡扣装置的电连接器的取置盖
【技术领域】
本实用新型公开一种具有卡扣装置的电连接器的取置盖,其中卡扣装置与相应电子元件对接,尤其是指一种可与卡扣装置相配合以便于电连接器的操作,并且在操作或装运时能可靠保护卡扣装置的取置盖。
【背景技术】
通常,电连接器通过卡扣装置与相应的电子元件如对接连接器之间保持可靠的连接,其中卡扣装置在结合及开启状态下移动,当其处于结合状态时电连接器与对接连接器锁扣,而在开启状态下卡扣装置则与对接连接器彼此分离。然而现有的这种卡扣装置具有一定的缺陷,其不便于操作而且在装运过程中卡扣装置容易受损。如美国专利第5,924,886号所揭示的卡扣装置,其采用线材制成,并设有可与电连接器表面通过磨擦相配合的部位,卡扣装置通过该部位临时组装在电连接器上。但是采用金属板冲压制成的卡扣装置则很难实施该种方式。
另一方面,为便于电连接器的操作,通常在其绝缘本体上设有取置盖,当电连接器组装在电路板上后,将该取置盖取下。然而,这种与绝缘本体配合的取置盖并不能用来保护卡扣装置,而且还会增加电连接器的操作工序。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有卡扣装置的电连接器的取置盖,该取置盖在电连接器操作及装运时能可靠保护卡扣装置。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:取置盖包括具有上、下表面的纵长平板,在平板相对的两末端处设有自下表面延伸的两侧臂,每一侧臂设有倒钩与电连接器的卡扣装置配合,从而将取置盖组装在电连接器上并保护卡扣装置。在平板部上表面的中间部及两末端之间开设有两凹槽,中间部可沿此凹槽相对于两末端轴向运动,驱动末端使侧臂与卡扣装置分离,从而将卡扣装置自电连接器上释放。在中间部的下表面设置有呈环形的中空的圆桶部,其可用来支撑中间部使其位于侧臂与卡扣装置相配合的位置处,当对中间部施加外力使圆桶部下压时,随着中间部向下移动,侧臂受力而向外伸展最终与卡扣装置相分离。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器的取置盖通过其侧臂上的倒钩与电连接器的卡扣装置相配合,不仅便于对电连接器的操作,同时卡扣装置也得到取置盖的可靠保护,从而避免在操作或装运时受到损坏。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型电连接器10包括有纵长的绝缘本体12及若干个导电端子20,其中绝缘本体12设有对接面(未标示),对接面的侧板14之间开设有收容空间16,其用来收容对接电连接器(未图示),舌片18凸伸于绝缘本体12的对接面上并被侧板14围绕,上述若干个导电端子20组装在舌片18上,每一端子20具有自绝缘本体12的安装面(未图示)延伸出并焊接在相应电路板(未图示)上的焊接部22。
卡扣装置24安装在绝缘本体12纵向两末端的位置处,其具有平滑的主体部26及自主体部26的末端29延伸出的侧臂28,且侧臂28彼此间隔设置在绝缘本体12纵向两末端处,横轴30用来连接两侧臂28的自由端,且该横轴30可转动地安装在绝缘本体12的安装面上,从而使卡扣装置24轴向组装在绝缘本体12上。卡扣装置24末端设有吊钩32,其可选择性地与对接连接器上相应的配合结构结合从而用来保证电连接器之间的连接。
取置盖40具有主体部,该主体部在本具体实施方式中为呈纵长构形的平板42,该平板42纵向两末端各延伸出一侧臂44。平板42通常由合成材料制成,从而允许其有适当的变形。侧臂44上设有两个相对的倒钩46。在平板42的中间部54处形成有环状的支持部,根据其构形称其为圆桶部48,且该圆桶部48设在两侧臂44的中间位置处,圆桶部48具有由薄壁围设而成的中心孔50,因此圆桶部48可被压下或折叠。取置盖40的大小恰可使其侧臂44的倒钩46与卡扣装置24的末端29配合,从而使取置盖40组装在电连接器10的绝缘本体12上,请参阅图3所示,圆桶部48的大小恰可使其抵靠于绝缘本体12的侧板14上,从而将平板42支撑在绝缘本体12的上方位置处。
当侧臂44与卡扣装置24配合时,卡扣装置24贴靠在侧板14上,取置盖40保护卡扣装置24并将其固定在绝缘本体12上的某一位置处。平板42具有平滑的上表面52,其可供真空吸取装置的吸取嘴牢固吸取,从而便于真空吸取装置对电连接器10的操作。
图3中揭示了取置盖40保护卡扣装置24的情形。由于中空的圆桶部48可以变形,可对平板42的中间部54朝向绝缘本体12的方向施以一定压力,如图4所示,上述对平板42所施加的压力会使圆桶部48弹性变形或塌陷,中间部54朝向绝缘本体12移动,并随着中间部54下移引起平板部42的末端及侧臂44向远离卡扣装置24的方向移动,从而使侧臂44与卡扣装置24的末端29分离,卡扣装置24被释放。
在平板部42的上表面52上开设有两凹槽56,其使得中间部54相对于两边缘处形成两条强度相对较低的软化线,该软化线可视为中间部54相对于平板42末端朝向绝缘本体12转动的枢轴。当然凹槽设置在取置盖40的平板部42的下表面也可起到相同的作用。
由于中间部54与平板部42的末端通过枢轴相连,因此即使在平板部42仅具有较小的变形量或非常坚硬的情形下,中间部54也可以通过枢轴达到相对于平板部42的末端移动的目的。

Claims (6)

1.一种取置盖,用于具有卡扣装置的电连接器上,其包括有主体部、侧臂和环状支持部,其中主体部具有上、下表面,且该主体部包括中间部及位于中间部两侧的末端,上述侧臂自主体部的末端的位置处向下延伸,其特征在于:上述中间部的下表面处设有环状支持部,每一侧臂末端处弯折设有与电连接器的卡扣装置相配合的倒钩,中间部可相对于两末端可向下移动,当卡扣装置处于结合状态时,中间部下缘的环状支持部与电连接器相抵靠以支撑前述主体部,当下压该环状支持部时,中间部向下朝电连接器方向移动,而使上述倒钩受力与卡扣装置分离,从而将取置盖自电连接器上释放。
2.如权利要求1所述的取置盖,其特征在于:中间部与主体部的每一末端之间设有枢轴,中间部可沿该枢轴相对于主体部的末端转动,主体部随之变形。
3.如权利要求2所述的取置盖,其特征在于:所述枢轴为主体部上开设的两凹槽,该凹槽设在主体部的中间部及其两末端之间的位置处。
4.如权利要求1所述的取置盖,其特征在于:所述主体部为呈纵长构形的平板。
5.如权利要求1所述的取置盖,其特征在于:所述环状支持部为设在主体部的下表面且呈中空构形的圆桶部。
6.如权利要求4所述的取置盖,其特征在于:所述主体部的上表面为平滑的表面,其可供真空吸取装置的吸取嘴吸取。
