Abstract
本实用新型提供一种具防误插装置的插座连接器,其包括有绝缘本体、端子组件及防误插装置,其中绝缘本体上设有一可收容对接插头连接器的收容空间,端子组件组设在绝缘本体中,其包括有一体成型于此端子组件中的若干端子,每一端子均包括有一伸入收容空间的接触部及一向下伸出绝缘本体底面的焊接尾部,防误插装置组设在收容空间的入口处,可防止除与其匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器插入。
Description
本实用新型有关一种连接器,尤其是指一种具有防误插装置的标准化互联网络插座连接器。
用于互联网络的RJ-45插头及插座连接器的宽度尺寸比用于电话网络的RJ-11插头及插座连接器的宽度尺寸要大,因此,RJ-11插头连接器可能会插入RJ-45插座连接器中。然而RJ-11插头连接器插入RJ-45插座连接器中时,将会损坏设在RJ-45插座连接器中的端子,更有可能会造成电性破坏。美国专利第6,022,246号案揭示了一种类型的连接器,在相互对接的插头与插座连接器上所设的防误插结构可防止两者之间发生装配错误的现象。但是,这种结构设计并不能防止RJ-11插头连接器插入RJ-45插座连接器中。
本实用新型主要目的在于提供一种具有防误插装置的插座连接器,可防止除与其匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器插入。
为达上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:插座连接器包括有绝缘本体及端子组件,其中在绝缘本体上设有一可供对接插头连接器插入的收容空间,端子组件设在绝缘本体中,此端子组件设有若干端子,每一端子均包括有一伸入收容空间的接触部及一向下伸出绝缘本体底面的焊接尾部;其特征在于,在收容空间的入口处组设有防误插装置,防止除与其匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器插入。
上述特征结构中,防误插装置包括有基体及悬梁,其中悬梁由一对弹性臂轴向固定在基体上,在每一弹性臂上均设有一斜面,当匹配的插头连接器插入时,该斜面被对接插头连接器向后推压,使得悬梁向下偏转。此装置的尺寸大小与对应的插座连接器及插头连接器相适应,其仅能被相匹配的插头连接器推动而产生弯折偏转,使此插头连接器可以插入收容空间。相反,具较小尺寸的非匹配的插头连接器不能推动这种装置而将被阻挡在外。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型借助设置防误插装置及其上述结构设计,使得非匹配的插头连接器不能插入插座连接器中,从而有效解决现有技术的缺点。

请参阅图1,一种具有防误插装置40的RJ-45插座连接器1,其包括有绝缘本体10,其上设有一可收容对接插头连接器(未图示)的收容空间11,其顶面10a上还设有一对可分别收容二极管13的狭槽12,其底面10b上设有一对凹槽14,而其两侧面上则分别设有一缺口15。
端子组件20组设在绝缘本体10中,其包括有一体成型于此端子组件20中的若干端子21,每一端子21均包括有一接触部21a及一向下伸出端子组件20底面的焊接尾部21b,且当端子组件20组设在绝缘本体10时,端子21的接触部21a伸入绝缘本体10的收容空间11中。
防误插装置40组设在收容空间11的入口11a处,可防止除与此插座连接器1相匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器插入。
此防误插装置40包括有基体41、悬梁42及锁固装置46,其中悬梁42由一对弹性臂43轴向固定在基体41上,在每一弹性臂43上均设有一斜面43a,且两弹性臂43的内侧之间相互间隔一定距离D,这个距离D称为防误插装置40的第一宽度,悬梁42设有一垂直于基体41的前表面42a,并进一步设有一对自此悬梁42向后延伸的垫片44,其中每一垫片44均包括有一可供插头连接器进一步抵压的倾斜部44a。锁固装置46包括有一对自上述基体41向后延伸且可收容在绝缘本体10的凹槽14中的固定部41a,及一对向基体41外侧相对延伸的凸部41b。
为防止悬梁42因受外力而断裂,在悬梁42的长度方向上设有一通道42b(如图3所示),其中设置有一金属材质的强化杆45,通过这种方法增加悬梁的强度,从而有效阻挡非匹配的插头连接器(如RJ-11插头连接器)插入。
请参阅图1及图4,绝缘本体10的外围包覆有遮蔽壳体30,当遮蔽壳体30组装在绝缘本体10上时,设于基体41上的凸部41b被遮蔽壳体30的前壁31包覆,以防止防误插装置40从收容空间11中脱落。
再请参阅图5及图6,当防误插装置40组设在收容空间11时,收容空间11的入口11a的高度变小。由于两弹性臂43相互间隔一定距离,当具第二宽度的RJ-11插头连接器(未图示)插入时,因第二宽度小于由两弹性臂43之间隔形成的第一宽度而会被悬梁42的前表面42a阻挡。因此,RJ-11插头连接器无法插入RJ-45插座连接器1中。
然而,当RJ-45插头连接器插入收容空间11时,因为RJ-45插头连接器宽度足够,其底边将紧靠在弹性臂43的斜面43a上,通过推压该斜面43a使弹性臂43弯曲变形,悬梁42被下压,因而悬梁42的前表面42a将被推动而变得倾斜,凭借这种设计,RJ-45插头连接器的底边滑过防误插装置40而插入收容空间11中。
Claims (11)
1.一种插座连接器,至少包括有绝缘本体及若干端子,在绝缘本体上设有一可收容对接插头连接器的收容空间;前述若干端子则组设在绝缘本体中,每一端子均包括有一伸入上述收容空间的接触部及一向下伸出上述绝缘本体底面的焊接尾部;其特征在于:在收容空间的入口处组设有防误插装置,从而防止除与其匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器插入。
2.如权利要求1所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:防误插装置包括有一与绝缘本体相配合的基体及一轴向固定于此基体上的悬梁。
3.如权利要求2所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:悬梁由一对弹性臂轴向固定于上述基体上。
4.如权利要求3所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:弹性臂包括有一斜面,当此斜面被对接插头连接器向后推动时,将迫使悬梁向下旋转。
5.如权利要求4所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:两弹性臂相隔一定距离,而使上述斜面不能同时与除与其匹配的对接插头连接器之外的其它连接器配合。
6.如权利要求2所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:悬梁包括有一垂直于基体的前表面。
7.如权利要求2所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:自悬梁向后延伸有一对垫片,每一垫片均包括有一可供插头连接器进一步抵压的倾斜部。
8.如权利要求2所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:绝缘本体的底面上设有凹槽,而其侧面上则设有缺口。
9.如权利要求8所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:基体上设有一对可与绝缘本体的凹槽相配合的固定部。
10.如权利要求8所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:基体上设有一对可与收容空间的缺口相配合的凸部。
11.如权利要求2所述的插座连接器,其特征在于:悬梁上沿其长度方向设有一通道,此通道内设置有一强化杆。
