Abstract

本实用新型包括用于组装在印刷电路板上的第一连接器和可拆式组装在第一连接器上的第二连接器,其中第二连接器设有具凹槽的第二本体,第二本体在两端形成有一对安装楔块及邻接在安装楔块的固持槽。端子盖板组装在第二连接器上,其上组装有应力缓冲机构,在应力缓冲机构上形成有沿固持槽接合的内扣脚及和基板枢转的外扣脚,其中当第二连接器组接到第一连接器时,外扣脚可拆式地收容在第一连接器的固持槽中。

Description

电连接器组合
本实用新型是一种电连接器组合,尤其是指一种通过应力缓冲机构将插座SCSI连接器与IDC型SCSI连接器组合到一起的电连接器。
组装在线缆末端的绝缘位移型电连接器(以下简称IDC连接器)是直接插入安装在电路板上的对接连接器(通常为插头连接器)中,并通过将端子盖板组装到IDC连接器的绝缘本体上,从而有利于绝缘位移部分和线缆端子间的连接。为防止连接不会在IDC连接器从插头连接器拨出的过程中意外分开,一种办法是提供组装在端子盖板上的应力缓冲机构,由此在IDC连接器插拨过程中保护上述的连接方式。
另一种解决问题的方法是提供组装在端子盖板上的控制件,也可在IDC连接器插拨过程中,防止上述的连接不会脱离。
高速传输连接器(以下简称SCSI连接器)多采用IDC连接器形式制造,因为存在于两对接连接器间的正常接触力过大而导致无法通过手指进行两个SCSI连接器间的插拨,并造成一定问题。为便于移动通常组接到线缆末端的SCSI连接器,并将其和插头型SCSI连接器接合,且插头连接器通常组装在印刷电路板上,故设置应力缓冲机构。而应力缓冲机构包括有接合在插座型SCSI连接器的第一扣脚及可拆式接合在插头连接器的第二扣脚。然而,由于第一扣脚容易松脱,故其易于从插头型SCSI连接器的元件上意外松脱。
本实用新型的目的是提供一种具第一连接器和组接在第一连接器上的第二连接器的电连接器组合,其中第一连接器和第二连接器之间的连接通过具内扣脚的应力缓冲机构可得到加强,从而在第一连接器和第二连接器接合时,可防止两连接器发生意外松脱。
本实用新型包括用于组装在印刷电路板上的第一连接器和可拆式组装在第一连接器上的第二连接器,其中第二连接器设有具收容第一连接器岛部的凹槽的第二本体,第二本体在两端形成有一对安装楔块及邻接在安装楔块的固持槽。端子盖板组装在第二连接器上,其设有一对和安装楔块相接合的安装插脚,在盖板上邻接安装插脚处设有一对通槽,在端子盖板上组装有应力缓冲机构,而在应力缓冲机构上形成有沿固持槽接合的内扣脚及和基板枢转的外扣脚,其中当第二连接器组接到第一连接器时,外扣脚可拆式地收容在第一连接器的固持槽中,并与第一连接器的卡钩相配合。
比较现有技术,本实用新型可在第一连接器和第二连接器接合时,防止两连接器发生意外松脱。
下面结合附图和实施例对本实用新型作进一步的说明。
图1是本实用新型的立体分解图。
图2是图1所示的组装图。
图3是本实用新型的局部剖视图,其表明内扣脚、外扣脚、安装楔块及固持槽之间的关系。
请参阅图1到图3,本实用新型电连接器组合1包括第一连接器10和组装在第一连接器10上的第二连接器20。在本实施例中,第一连接器10是插座SCSI连接器,而第二连接器20是IDC型SCSI连接器,并且第一连接器10可组装到印刷电路板(未图示)上。
第一连接器10包括具基板11a的第一本体11,在基板11a上形成有岛部12,另外在基板11a上形成有卡钩13,每个卡钩13包括有向外延伸的突起13a。第二连接器20包括具凹槽(未标号)的第二本体21,凹槽用来收容第一连接器10的岛部12,第二本体21设有相对于所述凹槽的连接面21a,在第二本体21两相对的末端设置有安装楔块22。此外,第二本体21上邻接安装楔块22处进一步设有一对固持槽23,在固持槽23内形成有接合挡块23a。在第二连接器20的连接面21a上组装有端子盖板24,以电性连接柔性扁平电路(以下简称FFC)线缆和第二连接器20绝缘位移部分(未图示)。端子盖板24也包括一对安装插脚24a,安装插脚24a向内延伸有用来和安装楔块22相接合的凸块24c。在盖板24上邻接安装插脚24a进一步设有一对通槽24b。
应力缓冲机构30组装在第二连接器20上,包括基体31,其上设有一对内扣脚32及一对以基体31为枢轴的外扣脚33,其中内扣脚32延伸穿过通槽24b并延伸到固持槽23中。内扣脚32设有外凸起32a,而外扣脚33上对应设有彼此相对的内凸起33a,而且内扣脚32的外凸起32a可在应力缓冲机构30组装到第二连接器20时,和接合挡块23a相接合。由于内扣脚32插置在固持槽23中,外凸起32a和挡块23a间的接合可得到可靠的保证。外扣脚33的后端部33b进一步桥接有握持把手34,当把手34向上拉伸时,外扣脚33的内凸起33a彼此互相枢转。此外,基体31进一步包括有一对尖角35,以在把手34向上拉伸时限制后端部33b向内的位移。一旦把手34回复到初始位置,即可确保内凸起33a和卡钩13间的接合。此外,外扣脚33的夹持力可由把手34得到进一步增强。
续请参阅图3,当第二连接器20组接到第一连接器10上时,内扣脚31可在固持槽23中得到较佳的保护,如此使得内扣脚31和挡块23a间的接合不容易从卡钩13上意外松脱。
组装时,端子盖板24组装在第二连接器20上,以利于FFC和第二连接器20间的电性连接,应力缓冲机构30则通过内扣脚32和固持槽23的接合而组装在第二连接器20上。第二连接器20此时可组装在第一连接器10上,除在凹槽标识和岛部12的接合外,二连接器的接合也可由外扣脚33和卡钩13间的接合得到进一步的加强。
当需要第二连接器20和第一连接器10脱离时,将把手34向上拉起,从而将后端部33b将彼此相对移动,并由此导致外扣脚33的内凸起33a充分张开而从卡钩13上松脱。此外,向上的推力可轻易地将第二连接器20从第一连接器10上分离。
也应注意到,盖板24的安装插脚24a及应力缓冲机构30的内扣脚32位于第二连接器20的侧壁25两端(图3示),并和相应的安装楔块22和侧壁25两端的接合挡块23a相接合,如此可相对于第二连接器20得到可靠的锁扣,而不会相互影响。同时,盖板24的安装插脚24a进一步夹持在应力缓冲机构30的外扣脚33和第二连接器20的侧壁25间,因此确保了端子盖板24和第二连接器20的接合。同时应注意到,第一连接器10的卡钩13通常和第二连接器20的侧壁25对齐排列并位于侧壁25下方,用来接合外扣脚33的内凸起33a,其中内凸起33a向下延伸一定距离而低于第二连接器20的侧壁25,从而确保整个电连接器组合在纵长向上尺寸的紧凑。

Claims (6)

1.一种电连接器组合,包括第一连接器与第二连接器,其中第一连接器可组装在印刷电路板上,第二连接器则可安装在第一连接器上,第二连接器设有具凹槽以承接第一连接器的岛部的第二本体,及设有相对于所述凹槽的连接面,在第二本体相对两端设有一对安装楔块,且第二本体邻接安装楔块处进一步设有固持槽,在第二连接器连接面上则组装有端子盖板,且所述盖板包括一对和安装楔块相接合的安装插脚,并在盖板上邻接在安装插脚处设有一对通槽;其特征在于:在第二连接器的端子盖板上组装有应力缓冲机构,其上设有和固持槽相接合的内扣脚,及和基板枢转的外扣脚,在第一连接器和第二连接器接合时外扣脚,可拆式地和第一连接器的卡钩相配合。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:固持槽进一步在内壁形成有挡块。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:盖板的通槽和第二本体的固持槽相互对齐。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:基板在两端进一步设有一对限制外扣脚枢转的尖角。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:内、外扣脚均彼此相对设置。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:外扣脚的后端部通过把手桥接一起。
