9. The locking device for facilitating replacement of a saw of claim 8, wherein the nut seat has a retaining tooth hole extending therethrough, and the outer surface of the nut seat adjacent the locking tab has an outer inclined surface of the collet and is inclined upward.

The locking device for facilitating replacement of a saw of claim 9, further comprising a washer and a set screw sized to fit the size of the retaining tooth aperture such that the washer and set screw may be inserted into the retaining tooth aperture, the washer is locked into the retaining tooth aperture by the set screw and the washer is compressed against the external threads of the spindle to lock the multipurpose collet nut to the spindle, preventing loosening of the multipurpose collet nut.
