The steamer of claim 1, wherein the upper periphery of the steamer body is provided with a supporting part which is formed by protruding outwards, the supporting part comprises a supporting body and a water guide ring groove arranged on the outer side of the supporting body, the bottom surface of the water guide ring groove is provided with a backflow hole, and the overflow prevention part is communicated with the water guide ring groove and is communicated with the outside of the steamer body through the backflow hole on the water guide ring groove.

A food steamer for a cooking appliance as set forth in claim 3, further comprising a food steamer cover, wherein the support body sealingly supports the food steamer cover, and wherein a gap is provided between the food steamer cover and the spill guard so that the spill guard can communicate with the cooking cavity and the water guide ring groove, respectively.
5. The food steamer of claim 4, wherein the height of the food steamer cover decreases from the center to the periphery, and the outer edge of the food steamer cover is arranged right above the water guide ring groove.
6. A food steamer for a cooking appliance as recited in claim 4, wherein the upper surface of the divider engages the lower surface of the cover.
7. A food steamer for a cooking appliance as recited in claim 4, wherein the outer periphery of the support portion extends upwardly to form a spacing portion, and the cover is disposed inwardly of the spacing portion.
8. The food steamer of claim 7, characterized in that the upper periphery of the limit part is provided with a connecting part which protrudes outwards.
9. A food steamer for a cooking appliance as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the bottom of the overflow prevention part is provided with a communication hole so that the overflow prevention part communicates with the outside of the food steamer body.
10. A food steamer for a cooking appliance as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the overflow prevention portion is of integral construction with the food steamer body.
