Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 to 7, a thermometer housing 1 (hereinafter also referred to as a housing 1) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure has an elongated shape defining a longitudinal direction D1, a width direction Dw, and a thickness direction Dt, and a distal end 2a of a thermometer 2 can be housed in an internal space 3 in a state of facing one side in the longitudinal direction D1. The thermometer module 4 of the present embodiment includes a case 1 and a thermometer 2.
The longitudinal direction D1 of the thermometer housing 1 coincides with the longitudinal direction of the thermometer 2. Here, the front surface is the surface of the display 14 having the thermometer 2. The width direction Dw is perpendicular to the length direction D1 when viewed from the front surface. The thickness direction Dt is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D1 and the width direction Dw. For convenience of explanation, the longitudinal direction D1 is also referred to as the up-down direction, the width direction Dw is also referred to as the left-right direction, and the thickness direction Dt is also referred to as the front-back direction.
The housing 1 has two side walls (width direction walls) 5, two thickness direction walls 6, and a front end wall 7. One of the thickness direction walls 6 has a locking hole 8, and the other thickness direction wall 6 does not have a locking hole 8. For convenience of explanation, the thickness direction wall 6 having the locking hole 8 is also referred to as a rear wall 9, the thickness direction wall 6 having no locking hole 8 is also referred to as a front wall 10, the side where the rear wall 9 is located is referred to as a rear side, and the side where the front wall 10 is located is referred to as a front side.
The thermometer 2 is formed in a shape elongated in the longitudinal direction D1. In the storage state in which the thermometer 2 is stored in the internal space 3 of the case 1, the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 is located on the lower side of the case 1, and has an outer shape that tapers toward the lower front end when viewed in the front-rear direction and tapers toward the lower front end when viewed in the left-right direction. The thermometer 2 includes a main body 11 and a cap 12 forming a distal end portion, the main body 11 includes a housing 13 and a display 14, and the housing 13 includes a housing main body 13a and a cover 13b (see fig. 9). The housing 13 is made of, for example, resin, and the cap 12 is made of, for example, metal.
The main body 11 (housing 13) has a trapezoid (truncated isosceles triangle) shape in which both corners on the upper side are rounded and tapered toward the lower front end when viewed in the front-rear direction in the housed state. The main body 11 (housing 13) has a trapezoidal outer shape in which both corners on the upper side are rounded and tapered toward the lower front end when viewed in the left-right direction in the housed state. The main body 11 (housing 13) has a rectangular outer shape with four corners rounded when viewed in the up-down direction in the housed state.
The cap 12 has a cylindrical outer shape that extends downward from the front end of the main body 11 in the housed state and is rounded at the lower end, and a temperature sensor composed of, for example, a thermistor is provided inside the cap. Thus, the thermometer 2 is an electronic thermometer having a temperature sensor. The display 14 is provided in an opening provided on the front surface of the housing 13 in a housed state, and displays the body temperature, the remaining battery level, and the like measured by the temperature sensor.
The two side walls 5 are provided so as to face each other on both sides in the width direction Dw of the internal space 3 so as to cover at least the distal end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state. The two thickness direction walls 6 are provided on both sides in the thickness direction Dt with respect to the internal space 3 so as to expose at least the distal end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state, and connect the two side walls 5, respectively. The front end wall 7 is provided on the lower side with respect to the internal space 3 so as to cover at least the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state, and connects the two side walls 5. Both ends of the front end wall 7 in the width direction Dw are connected to the lower ends of the side walls 5, respectively. The front end 2a of the thermometer 2 may be in contact with the upper surface of the front end wall 7 in the housed state, or the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 may not be in contact with the upper surface of the front end wall 7 in the housed state.
The two side walls 5 have a narrowed portion 5a, and the narrowed portion 5a is formed of two flat plate-like portions inclined so as to be narrowed downward at a predetermined interval in the width direction Dw between the two side walls 5. In the stored state of the thermometer 2, the display 14 of the thermometer 2 is located between the reduced portions 5a. The length L2 of the reduced portion 5a in the longitudinal direction D1 is half or more of the length L1 of the two side walls 5 in the longitudinal direction D1. The inclination angles of the two flat plate-like portions constituting the reduced portion 5a are set to be equal to the inclination angle of the housing 13 of the thermometer 2 in the housed state. Therefore, when viewed from the front surface, the two flat plate-like portions constituting the reduced portion 5a extend along the housing 13 of the thermometer 2 in the housed state.
The two side walls 5 have an enlarged portion 5b which is enlarged downward at a distance of the width direction Dw of the two side walls 5 at a lower side than the reduced portion 5a. The enlarged portion 5b has two flat plate-like portions inclined so as to be enlarged downward at intervals in the width direction Dw of the two side walls 5. The two flat plate-like portions constituting the enlarged portion 5b are disposed symmetrically with respect to the central axis of the thermometer 2 and the housing 1 along the longitudinal direction D1. The enlarged portion 5b is not limited to such a structure having two flat plate-like portions. The enlarged portion 5b is smoothly connected to the lower end of the reduced portion 5a via a bent portion.
The two side walls 5 have front end portions 5c at which the intervals in the width direction Dw of the two side walls 5 decrease toward the lower side at the lower side than the enlarged portions 5b. The front end portion 5c has two flat plate-like portions inclined so that the interval between the two side walls 5 in the width direction Dw decreases toward the lower side. The two flat plate-like portions constituting the distal end portion 5c are disposed symmetrically with respect to the central axis of the thermometer 2 and the housing 1 along the longitudinal direction D1. The front end portion 5c is not limited to such a structure having two flat plate-like portions. The distal end portion 5c is smoothly connected to the lower end of the enlarged portion 5b via a bent portion.
The case 1 has an insertion opening 15 formed by the upper end portion of the front wall 10, the upper end portion of the rear wall 9, and the upper end portions of the two side walls 5, and into which the front end 2a of the donor thermometer 2 can be inserted downward. In the insertion port 15, the upper end portion of the front wall 10 and the upper end portion of the rear wall 9 are located above the upper end portions of the two side walls 5. For example, the upper end of the front wall 10 and the upper end of the rear wall 9 may be positioned below the upper ends of the two side walls 5.
By inserting the distal end 2a of the thermometer 2 from the insertion port 15 into the internal space 3 toward the lower side, the thermometer 2 can be placed in the stored state. In the state of being accommodated in the case 1, the thermometer 2 is sandwiched by the two thickness direction walls 6 from both sides in the thickness direction Dt and is sandwiched by the two side walls 5 from both sides in the width direction Dw.
The housing 1 has: a front opening 16 located on the front side with respect to the inner space 3, and a rear opening 17 located on the rear side with respect to the inner space 3. At least the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 is located between the front side opening 16 and the rear side opening 17 in the housed state.
The front opening 16 is formed by the lower end of the front wall 10, the front ends of (the portions below the front wall 10 of) the two side walls 5, and the front end of the front end wall 7. The rear opening 17 is formed by the lower end of the rear wall 9, the rear ends of (the portions below the rear wall 9 of) the two side walls 5, and the rear end of the front end wall 7. The front opening 16 is provided over a wider range than the rear opening 17 in the longitudinal direction D1.
The upper end of the rear opening 17 is located below the reduced portion 5a, more specifically, at the height of the lower end of the enlarged portion 5b. The position of the upper end of the rear opening 17 is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a position lower than the height of the lower end of the enlarged portion 5b, a position lower than the reduced portion 5a and upper than the height of the lower end of the enlarged portion 5b, or a position upper than the reduced portion 5a.
The upper end of the front opening 16 is located above the enlarged portion 5b, more specifically, at the height of the upper ends of the two side walls 5. The position of the upper end of the front opening 16 is not limited to this, and may be, for example, located below the enlarged portion 5b, or may be located above the enlarged portion 5b and below the height of the upper ends of the two side walls 5.
As shown in fig. 1 and 6 to 8, the reduced portions 5a of the two side walls 5 have locking projections 18 on the inner surfaces in the width direction Dw, respectively, for locking the thermometer 2 so as to restrict the movement of the thermometer 2 in the housed state to the front side. The two locking projections 18 are provided on the upper portion of the reduced portion 5a so as to be laterally symmetrical with respect to the central axes of the thermometer 2 and the housing 1. The two locking projections 18 are not limited to this, and may be provided at the lower portion of the reduced portion 5a, or may be provided asymmetrically. According to the two locking projections 18, the thermometer 2 can be restrained from moving so that the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 protrudes from the front opening 16 to the front side in the stored state. In order to easily obtain such an effect, it is preferable that the two locking projections 18 have a vertically elongated shape as shown in the drawing.
As shown in fig. 1 to 7, the rear wall 9 includes a locking hole 8 penetrating the rear wall 9. The locking hole 8 can lock the convex portion 19 provided on the lower surface of the thermometer 2. The thermometer 2 in the storage-restricted state is moved to a position above the front opening 16. As shown in fig. 9, the convex portion 19 and the cover 13b are provided on the rear surface of the thermometer 2, which is located on the rear side in the housed state. The protruding portion 19 is formed of a hemispherical protrusion, and the locking hole 8 is formed of a through hole having a circular shape when viewed from the front surface and the rear surface. The shapes of the protruding portion 19 and the through hole constituting the locking hole 8 are not limited to this, and for example, the protruding portion 19 may be formed by a protrusion or a rib having a shape other than a hemispherical shape, and the through hole may be formed in a shape matching the shape of the protruding portion 19.
The cover 13b can open and close a circular opening of the case main body 13a for allowing the button cell to enter and exit the inside of the case main body 13a. The cover 13b is circular when viewed in the front-rear direction in the housed state. The cover 13b has a slit groove 20 extending in a straight line in the radial direction, and by inserting an engaging member such as a coin or a straight screwdriver into the slit groove 20 to perform a twisting operation, the cover 13b can be rotated by 90 ° in the circumferential direction (in the direction indicated by the open arrow in fig. 9) between an open/close position where the cover 13b can be opened and closed and a closed position where the cover 13b is kept closed. Further, the protruding portion 19 is provided on an extension line of the slit groove 20 at the open/close position. According to this structure, the protruding portion 19 can be used as a mark when the cover 13b is rotated to the open/close position, without the need for printing a mark separately. Thus, even if the thermometer 2 is frequently wiped, printing does not disappear, and is preferable.
In fig. 9, the slit groove 20 in the closed position is indicated by a two-dot chain line, and the slit groove 20 in the open position is indicated by a solid line. The radial direction refers to the radial direction with respect to the rotation center of the cover 13b, and the circumferential direction refers to the circumferential direction with respect to the rotation center of the cover 13b. The rotation angle of the cover 13b is not limited to 90 °.
According to the present embodiment, in the stored state, the thermometer 2 can be stably held by the two side walls 5 (in particular, the reduced portion 5a and the two locking protrusions 18), the two thickness direction walls 6, the protruding portion 19, and the locking hole 8. In addition, according to the present embodiment, the thermometer 2 in the stored state, particularly the distal end 2a, can be protected from the outside by the two side walls 5 and the distal end wall 7, and breakage and occurrence of failure can be suppressed.
In addition, according to the present embodiment, the thermometer 2 and the case 1 in the stored state can be easily sterilized by immersing the thermometer 2 and the case 1 in a cleaning liquid such as a sterilizing liquid or a cleaning liquid. For example, the sterilization liquid can be allowed to pass through the front opening 16 and the rear opening 17 to penetrate the surface of the thermometer 2 and the inner surface of the case 1. Then, after being left for a prescribed time, each housing 1 is lifted from the sterilizing liquid and dried, whereby the cleaning operation can be easily completed. In this case, the locking hole 8 is formed of a through hole, so that the disinfectant can easily reach the inside of the locking hole 8 and the convex portion 19 of the thermometer 2, and the dirt can be prevented from being accumulated in the locking hole 8 after the cleaning operation. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the thermometer 2 in the stored state can be stably held, and the sanitary state can be easily ensured.
In the present embodiment, since the two side walls 5 have the enlarged portions 5b, the distance between the distal end portions 5c of the two side walls 5 in the width direction Dw can be ensured to be wide. Therefore, in the case of performing the cleaning work by wiping, the finger can be easily inserted between the distal end portions 5c, and thus the cleaning work can be easily performed.
The present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present disclosure.
Accordingly, the case 1 for a thermometer according to the above embodiment has a slender shape defining the longitudinal direction D1, the width direction Dw, and the thickness direction Dt, and can store the thermometer 2 in the internal space 3 with the distal end 2a facing one side in the longitudinal direction D1, wherein various modifications are possible as long as the case 1 is as follows, and the case 1 has: the thermometer 2 includes two side walls 5 provided on both sides in the width direction Dw with respect to the internal space 3 so as to cover at least the distal end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state, two thickness direction walls 6 provided on both sides in the thickness direction Dt with respect to the internal space 3 so as to expose at least the distal end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state and connecting the two side walls 5, respectively, and an engagement hole 8 penetrating one of the thickness direction walls 6 and capable of engaging the convex portion 19 of the thermometer 2 so as to restrict movement of the thermometer 2 in the housed state to the other side in the longitudinal direction D1. The two side walls 5 are not limited to the structure in which the interval between the two side walls 5 in the width direction Dw of the tip portion 5c is narrowed toward the lower side. The structure is not limited to the structure in which the two side walls 5 have two locking protrusions 18. The thermometer 2 is not limited to the structure having the cover 13b.
The case 1 for a thermometer according to the above embodiment is preferably a case 1 in which the two side walls 5 have a reduced portion 5a, and the reduced portion 5a is formed of two flat plate-like portions inclined so as to be reduced toward the one side in the longitudinal direction D1 at an interval in the width direction Dw of the two side walls 5, and the length in the longitudinal direction D1 of the reduced portion 5a is equal to or longer than half the length in the longitudinal direction D1 of the two side walls 5.
The case 1 for a thermometer according to the above embodiment is preferably a case 1 in which the two side walls 5 have an enlarged portion 5b that enlarges the distance between the two side walls 5 in the width direction Dw toward the one side in the longitudinal direction D1 at a position closer to the one side in the longitudinal direction D1 than the reduced portion 5a.
The thermometer casing 1 of the above embodiment is preferably a casing 1 having a front end wall 7 which is provided on the above-described side in the longitudinal direction D1 with respect to the internal space 3 so as to cover at least the front end 2a of the thermometer 2 in the housed state, and connects both side walls 5.
