8. The scaffolding pedal securing mechanism as claimed in any one of claims 1, 6 or 7 wherein the short axis of the race track ring is shorter than the length of the second sheet.
9. The scaffolding pedal mounting mechanism as claimed in claim 8 wherein the short axis of the race track ring is 1.6 to 2mm shorter than the length of the second sheet.
10. A scaffold pedal comprising the securing mechanism of the scaffold pedal of any one of claims 1 to 9.
