The track maintenance device of claim 4 wherein said adjustment assembly further includes at least two stop members, said adjustment rod having two ends threadably engaged with at least one of said stop members, said stop members at said adjustment rod ends being respectively in abutment with the outer sides of said first clamping plate and said second clamping plate.

A track maintenance device as claimed in any one of claims 2 to 5, wherein the top of the first clamping plate and the top of the second clamping plate are in sliding engagement with the jacking connection in a direction in which the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate are spaced apart from or close to each other.
7. A track maintenance device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the jacking connection is provided with a limiting assembly for limiting the relative displacement of the jacking connection relative to the first clamping plate and/or the second clamping plate.
