现有的头盔，包括安全头盔、摩托车驾驶员头盔，在黑暗中不会自行发光，其中有些带有反光材料，则必须有外来光源照射才起作用，这类头盔在黑暗中不易辩识，特别不利于避免灾难性事故，而在发生事故时也不易及早发现，这对于井下作业尤为必要。黑暗中自行发光的材料往往带有放射性物质，不利于人体健康。
本实用新型的目的是提供一种无放射性夜光头盔。
本实用新型的任务是这样实现的。头盔材料包含高强度塑料和无放射性夜光粉。采用聚乙烯、ABS塑料，硫化锌型夜光粉。可以将头盔制成整体夜间发光型的，也可以先将夜光粉与塑料粒子混和模压成标牌，镶嵌在头盔上，每件头盔可镶嵌一块或多块夜光标牌供夜间识别。

本实用新型包括头盔1，其特征是：在头盔上镶有一块或一块以上的夜光标牌，所说的夜光标牌是由无放射性材料制成的，厚度在0.5－1.0毫米之间，可以通过模压与头盔压注成一体，也可以通过铆接方式连接。本实用新型可以用作作业用安全头盔，也可用作摩托车驾驶员头盔，可以增加生产和车辆行驶的安全性，由于在黑暗中会自行发光，无需外界光源，对于野外或井下作业辩识寻找目标特别有用。
