3. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 2, wherein the number of ventilation holes is a plurality of ventilation holes equally spaced along the circumference of the duct.
4. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 1, wherein the longitudinal cross-sectional area of the helical intake passage increases progressively from an end adjacent the airflow inlet to an end adjacent the airflow outlet.
5. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 1, wherein an annular insulating gap is formed between the inner side wall of the second sleeve and the inner side wall of the housing.
6. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 1, wherein the receptacle is sleeved with an annular cover plate that seals over a port at an end of the first sleeve facing away from the base to close a top end of the insulating cavity formed between the first sleeve and the receptacle.
7. The heating non-combustible smoking article of claim 6, wherein the annular cover plate has a radially projecting detent on its outer peripheral surface, and the corresponding port of the first sleeve has a recess for engaging the detent, the detent engaging the detent to locate the annular cover plate on the corresponding port of the first sleeve.
8. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 1, wherein the heating element is a heating sheet, and wherein the end of the heating sheet in the interior cavity of the holder is provided with a piercing tip for piercing the cigarette so that the heating sheet can be inserted inside the cigarette.
9. The heated non-combustible smoking article of claim 1, further comprising a power supply for supplying power to the heat-generating element, the power supply being housed in the housing cavity, the heat-generating element being electrically connected to the power supply.

The heated non-combustible smoking article of any of claims 1 to 9, wherein the housing includes a closed bottom and open top bottom base and an upper cover removably mounted over the open top base, the cavity of the base and the cavity of the upper cover defining the receiving cavity when the upper cover is closed over the open top base, the tray, the first sleeve and the second sleeve being located in the cavity of the upper cover, the base being secured in the open top base, the smoke inlet opening in the upper cover, the smoke inlet communicating with the airflow inlet for external air to flow into the spiral air intake duct through the airflow inlet.
