Technical Field
The application relates to the field of biological detection, in particular to a portable extraction tool box for oncomelania nucleic acid.
Background
Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease which is caused by the infection of human or animals with schistosomiasis, seriously harms human health and the development of economy and society, and is one of the important public health problems in the world. Oncomelania snail is the intermediate host of schistosomiasis and is the transmission medium of schistosomiasis. While snail distribution monitoring is one of the most important loops in propagation risk monitoring and control. Traditional oncomelania monitoring is based on anatomical microscopic observation of schistosoma japonicum cercaria. But the actual infection in the epidemic environment is often underestimated due to the low sensitivity of the detection method. Nucleic acid-based molecular biology methods (such as PCR and LAMP) have the advantages of high sensitivity and good specificity, and have begun to be applied to the monitoring of infectious oncomelania in schistosomiasis epidemic areas. The nucleic acid extraction of the oncomelania is the first link of molecular biological detection. At present, a common oncomelania nucleic acid extraction method is a microcentrifuge column method, but the method has small detection quantity, needs a high-speed centrifuge and is not suitable for field batch screening.
