The side grinding machine of claim 1 or 5, wherein the first linear guide assembly includes two first guide rails horizontally disposed and spaced apart from each other, and first slide blocks, and each of the first guide rails is connected to the first slide plate by a set of the first slide blocks.

The side grinding machine of claim 1 or 5, wherein the second linear guide assembly includes two second guide rails and two second slide blocks, the two second guide rails are horizontally disposed and spaced apart, and each of the second guide rails is connected to the second slide plate through a set of the second slide blocks.
10. A side grinding machine according to claim 1, wherein a grinding head shield is mounted outside the grinding head.
