Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of aerosol delivery, in particular to a heating non-combustion type (HNB) aerosol generating product, and particularly relates to a heating non-combustion type aerosol generating product with a wiping structure.
Background
Heating a non-combustible aerosol-generating article causes an aerosol-generating material to release aerosol for consumption by a user's smoking by heating the material to a temperature below its ignition point. The most typical heated non-combustible aerosol-generating articles are heated non-combustible cigarettes (including aerosol delivery devices, commonly referred to as smoking articles, and aerosol-generating articles, commonly referred to as cigarettes) which smoke tobacco by heating it to a temperature below its ignition point, and which greatly reduce the amount of harmful substances associated with conventional cigarettes when smoked, have become an overwhelming technological trend to replace conventional smoking cigarettes. Of course, the aerosol generating material is not limited to tobacco only, and many other herbs can be heated to produce an aerosol with a particular flavour.
The most popular currently heated non-combustible aerosol delivery devices employ resistive or electromagnetic heating sheets inserted into the interior of the aerosol-generating article for heating. However, due to the inevitable local overheating of the heating temperature and the differences in the high temperature resistance properties of the aerosol-generating material in the aerosol-generating article, during heating, scorched or oily stickies and the like often adhere to the heating plate, and if these scorched or oily stickies are not cleaned in time, they are inevitably pyrolyzed during heating of the subsequent aerosol-generating article to generate an off-flavor, which affects the smoking experience of the subsequent aerosol-generating article.
There are many ways to clean these burnt or oily slimes, one of the simplest ways to clean is to insert a special brush (usually provided as an aerosol delivery device attachment) inside the aerosol-generating article receiving chamber to clean the surface of the heater chip. However, users often forget to carry such a special brush with them, and thus cannot clean at any time and any place. Furthermore, because the heating blade is located inside the aerosol-generating article-receiving cavity of the appliance, it is difficult for a user to directly observe the cleaning effect, often with unclean or over-clean cleaning.
Patent CN103997922B "extractor for aerosol-generating device" discloses an extractor, wherein a bottom of an aerosol-generating product-containing cylinder has a heating sheet insertion opening, and when the extractor is used to extract an aerosol-generating product, the heating sheet insertion opening moves upward relative to a heating sheet and scrapes the surface of the heating sheet, thereby cleaning the burnt matter or oily viscous matter remaining on the surface of the heating sheet. The problem with this cleaning approach is that the extractor can only scrape the heater chip surface once for a single puff on an aerosol-generating article, and not repeatedly scrape to clean the adhesive thoroughly, so the residue is not necessarily clean. When smoking multiple aerosol-generating articles, the rigid metal or hard plastic aerosol-generating article receiving cartridge scrapes the heater sheet multiple times, wearing the heater sheet surface and reducing the heater sheet life.
CN104039183B "smoking article with front plug and method" proposes to add a front plug to the front of the aerosol-generating article, the front plug also having a heater chip insertion opening, against which the heater chip surface is wiped to clean the heater chip surface residue when the aerosol-generating article is pulled out. However, the front plug complicates the commercial mass production of the aerosol-generating article and the front plug is required to withstand the high temperatures of the heating plate and is very limited in material selection, for example: when paper or acetate fiber materials are used, the temperature resistance is not good enough, the heating sheet is easy to be heated to be crisp, shrink and deform, soften and deform and even break, and the strength of the heating sheet is not strong enough to wipe the adhesive on the surface of the heating sheet; using aluminum foil as the front plug, the aluminum foil scrapes both rigidly and rigidly against the heater plate surface, which wears the heater plate surface. In addition, scraping is performed using a front plug, the scraping force cannot be adjusted manually, and users often have a feeling of strength.
CN104023574B "method and apparatus for cleaning heating elements of aerosol generating devices" discloses a method for cleaning by further increasing the temperature of the heating plate to completely thermally decompose the coke paste or oily dope. However, in order to achieve complete thermal decomposition, the heating sheet must be further heated to a temperature at which the burnt or oily viscous substance burns or almost burns, which not only consumes the originally limited battery power, but also generates unpleasant odor during the cleaning process.
The present invention is directed to solving the above problems.
Disclosure of Invention
In a first aspect the invention discloses a heated non-combustible aerosol-generating article having a wiping arrangement, the aerosol-generating article comprising a filter 1, the filter 1 having at least one cut 11 extending from a proximal labial end to a distal labial end for a distance which is less than the axial length of the filter (1). The cut-out serves as the wiping structure for wiping the surface of the heating plate of the aerosol delivery device.
The cuts, although referred to as "cut" cuts, do not necessarily have to be a consequence of the cutting action and may be formed in a variety of ways, for example the cuts may be made in the filter or may be formed integrally with the filter.
The periphery of the incision may also be covered with a layer of paper, or not, for hygiene or to control the resistance to suction.
Preferably, the cut-outs 11 extend along the longitudinal centre axis of the aerosol-generating article, although they may extend in other directions.
Preferably, said cut 11 extends over a distance less than the length of the filter 1, so as to ensure that at least one portion of the filter performs a filtering function, avoiding short circuits of the smoke inside the filter, ensuring a filtering function and ensuring the necessary resistance to suction.
The incision may be one or more, and when the incision is plural, they may be parallel to or intersect each other.
Preferably, the cut-outs 11 are in the form of a diameter or a non-diameter chord on the circular end surface, seen from the proximal labial end along the central axis of the aerosol-generating article. Where chord refers to the segment connecting two points on the circumference, it is clear that the diameter is the longest chord, and non-diameter chords refer to chords that are shorter in length than the diameter.
The material of the filter may be hydrophilic and/or lipophilic. Preferably, the filter 1 is made of an oleophilic material, most typically cellulose acetate fibre, which is most commonly used in conventional filters, although other materials may be used.
The simplest structure of a heated non-combustible aerosol-generating article having a wiping arrangement of the present invention is that there is only a segment of aerosol-generating article and a filter 1, the filter 1 having at least one cut-out 11 extending a distance from the proximal lip to the distal lip.
Preferably, the shape of the cut-out 11 is a flat shape. Flat shape as used herein means that the cut leaves two opposing side walls on the filter that are both of a length and width that is much greater than the spacing between the two side walls, e.g. a length to spacing ratio >8, preferably greater than 12, more preferably greater than 16; independently, the ratio of width to pitch is >8, preferably greater than 12, more preferably greater than 16.
Preferably, the heated non-combustible aerosol-generating article with a wiping structure comprises, in order from the distal lip end to the proximal lip end, a segment 4 of aerosol-generating material, a support segment 3, a cooling segment 2 and the filter 1, wherein the segment 4 of aerosol-generating material is filled with ordered or unordered aerosol-generating material in the form of filaments, strips, sheets or particles (such as cut tobacco, tobacco rods, tobacco sheets or tobacco particles), wherein the support segment 3 has an intermediate airflow channel, and the cooling segment 2 is filled with cooling material or the cooling segment 2 is an empty tube with through ventilation holes on the side wall. Aerosol-generating articles in which a segment of aerosol-generating material, a support segment, a cooling segment and a conventional filter are connected in series are known in the HNB art and have been disclosed for example in CN104010531A, "aerosol-generating articles for use with aerosol-generating devices". Wherein the support section 3 and/or the cooling section 2 may also be omitted.
A second aspect of the invention relates to an aerosol delivery system comprising: a heated non-combustible aerosol-generating article having a wiping structure according to the first aspect of the invention and a heated non-combustible aerosol delivery appliance having a heater chip.
A third aspect of the invention relates to a method of wipe cleaning a heat patch of a heated, non-burning aerosol delivery device comprising an aerosol delivery device body and a heat patch using an aerosol-generating article having a wiping arrangement according to the first aspect of the invention, characterised in that the heat patch is exposed after smoking is complete and is gripped by the cut-out 11 for wiping. The wiping may be repeated wiping.
The method of exposing the heat patch is conventional and there are many ways, for example, to make the aerosol delivery device split and remove the portion of the housing surrounding the heat patch after the inhalation is complete.
Preferably, the aerosol delivery appliance further comprises a separable extractor in the form of a cup with a heat patch insertion opening in the bottom for receiving the aerosol-generating article; the separable extractor has a heating position in which the separable extractor is connected to the aerosol delivery device body and the heating sheet is inserted into the aerosol-generating article through the heating sheet insertion port to heat the aerosol-generating material segment, and an extraction position in which the aerosol-generating article is also separated from the heating sheet while the heating sheet is exposed as the separable extractor is separated from the aerosol delivery device body, the key point is that after the separable extractor is removed from the heated nonflammable aerosol-generating article having the wiping structure, the heating sheet is sandwiched by the slit 11 to wipe off the residue remaining on the heating sheet.
The structure of a separable extractor is also known, so that the present invention is not described in detail, and an illustrative but non-limiting example can be found in CN111904031A "aerosol generating device", and the separable extractor has the advantages that a smoke cup and the extractor can be combined into a whole, and a heating sheet can be exposed after the extractor is separated from the aerosol delivery device body, so that the heating sheet can be conveniently cleaned by a cleaning brush. Of course other separable extractors may be used.
The technical scheme can be freely combined on the premise of no contradiction.
The invention has the following beneficial effects:
1. the present invention skillfully provides a cut on the filter of the HNB aerosol-generating article, and uses this cut as a wiping structure for the heating sheet of the aerosol delivery device. The cut cannot be forgotten, as long as smoking with the HNB aerosol generating article of the invention is ready for use, the cut wiping structure will be present, as compared to a special brush which is easily forgotten, which is not likely to be forgotten, like a pencil with an eraser at the end.
2. The filter tip is usually made of acetate fiber, the mechanical strength performance is moderate, and the filter tip is neither too hard nor too soft, in contrast, the extractor made of metal or hard plastic material or the front plug of the aluminum foil is too hard and is easy to wear the heating sheet, the acetate fiber material heated by the heating sheet at high temperature is too soft to wipe the immobile adhesive, and the sealing film of some particle type cigarettes can also play a scraping role but also is too soft to wipe the immobile adhesive.
3. The user can use this incision to wipe it repeatedly under the visual state of heating plate, and the effect is visible, and cleans the dynamics adjustable, and until clean, avoid clean not clean or excessively clean.
4. The remaining oily viscous substance, similar in nature to tar, is essentially a lipophilic material, does not adhere well to hydrophilic wipes such as metal, aluminum foil, bristles, etc., and is not easily transferred to such wipes. The material of the acetate fiber of the filter tip is precisely selected for absorbing tar generated during the ignition and the suction of cigarettes, and the material is also oleophilic in nature, so that oily sticky matters are easily transferred to the material at the cut of the filter tip to be wiped off. The invention is equivalent to replacing the hydrophilic wiping materials such as metal, aluminum foil, brush hair, sealing film and the like which are additionally added by the lipophilic material of the filter tip which is near to the eyes.
5. The invention has wide application range, has no requirement on the structural forms of the smoking material and the aerosol generating product, and can be applied to the aerosol generating product with the filter tip.
