背景技术
塑料管材广泛用于医疗领域,特别是用于患者分析和治疗程序。然而,医用管材需要不同且有时不相容的需求。例如,医疗管材应该是惰性的并且避免通过其进行输送的流体受到污染。但是许多具有这种特性的塑料材料往往不是柔性的。然而,在许多应用中,医疗管材被缠住或夹住,或与通过压缩管材使流体通过管材的输注泵一起使用。这种用途要求管材是柔性的。
为了满足对医疗管材的不同要求,这种管材被制成具有多个不同聚合物材料的层或具有添加剂(如增塑剂),以改变管材的特性。然而,由不同材料制成的多层管材可能会出现分层,因此有时在不相容的材料之间包括粘合剂“连接层”。此外,用添加剂制成的管材有可能将添加剂迁移到通过其输送的流体中和将其污染。此外,增塑的聚合物材料诸如增塑聚氯乙烯可能具有粘性并导致管材阻塞和撕裂。

本主题技术的各方面涉及管材,尤其涉及用于通过输注来施用医用流体的医用管材。本公开的各个方面提供了一种具有夹心三层结构的医用级管材,该三层结构包括内层、外层和介于内层和外层树脂材料之间并连接到内层和外层树脂材料的中间层。在一些实施方案中,内层、外层和中间层可以由相同的基础聚合物树脂材料形成。内层、外层和中间层可以由相同的基础聚合物树脂材料形成的这种构造有利地避免了对传统需要的用以保持多层之间的结合并防止管材的多层发生分层的连接层的需要。例如,由于三层中的每一层都使用具有相同极性和化学组成的相同相容型基础树脂,因此无需在其间设置连接层以防止管材的内层、外层和中间层分层。
医用管材可包括各种添加剂和/或着色剂。例如,用于向患者递送药物和营养物的医用管材通常需要满足必要的临床应用要求,例如,250至450nm范围内的光保护能力,至少90%的阻塞以保护流入管材的光敏医用流体。着色剂也可以包含在医用管材中,作为特定临床用途的标识符。
根据本公开的各种实施方案,可以将光保护添加剂和/或着色剂结合到中间层的载体树脂中。光保护添加剂可以有利地提供上述光保护能力范围以保护在管材中流动的光敏医用流体免于暴露于光,否则光可能降解光敏医用流体和/或改变它们的化学组成,使它们不适合其预期用途。
将光保护添加剂和/或着色剂结合到中间层中的上述构造的进一步有利之处在于,内层用作屏障以防止光保护添加剂和/或着色剂中的任何潜在刺激性化学物质泄漏到在管腔中流动的药用流体中,否则会污染医用流体。
在此描述的各种实施方案的多层(例如,三层)管材可以利用包含光保护添加剂的单独的化学品包装,然后将其并入中间层的载体树脂中。然后可以将管材挤出成单层或多层,如下文将进一步详细描述的。如本文所述,多层(例如,三层)管材被配置为能够经受并通过针对耐光输注套件的严格测试规定。例如,中国食品药品监督管理局(cFDA)最近发布了一次性输注用耐光输注组件的标准规定,其中低和高pH值、65%乙醇和50%PEG溶液在37℃在输注组件内循环2小时。如果提取的介质的颜色比透明的65%乙醇和50%PEG溶液更深,则规定认为测试失败。在进一步的cFDA测试规定中,输注组件在60℃下孵育24 小时,然后用棉花擦拭约1米长的外管层。如果在用于擦拭管材的棉花表面发现着色剂明显迁移到管材外层,则该规定认为测试失败。这些对内层进行化学测试和外层物理测试的严格测试条件决定了需要一种替代方法来保持管层中添加剂的完整性。因此,本公开的各种实施方案涉及提供具有包含活性光保护添加剂和/或着色剂的中间层的三层管设计构造。三层管的内层有利地充当屏障以避免医用流体和光保护添加剂或着色剂的直接接触。外层充当另一个屏障以防止添加剂从中间层迁移到三层管的外表面上。
本公开的管材的另一个好处是中间层可以包括着色剂、紫外线阻隔剂、不透射线的条带以及其他添加剂中的一种或多种。此类添加剂可用于设计有色管材和/或耐光管材,而无需担心此类添加剂浸出到由管材传输的流体中,因为内层可防止此类添加剂的迁移。
本公开的三层管可特别适用于静脉组件和/或输注泵,用于将静脉流体输送到患者。将流体容器静脉内连接到患者的管材、阀门、配件和针头的组件可被称为“静脉内组件”或“IV组件”。输注组件可以包括根据本公开的管材,该管材被结合到IV组件的部件,例如医疗连接器、滴注室、鲁尔接头、针头、止回阀、过滤器和无针阀等,以实现医疗输送至患者要么用作重力组件,要么由医用泵控制以进行程序化的医疗输送程序。

例如,可以通过在内层10的聚合物材料中包含比外层20和中间层30更少量或不同类型的增塑剂来实现柔性或硬度的差异。在一些实施方案中,增塑剂的量或不同类型的增塑剂应足以有利地使外层或中间层的硬度比内层10的硬度小至少约5个硬度单位。在一些实施方案中,例如,内层10可以具有比外层20 和中间层30更少量的相同增塑剂以实现更高的硬度。在一些方面,邻苯二甲酸酯如邻苯二甲酸二(2-乙基己基)酯(DEHP)和己二酸酯如己二酸二(2-乙基己基)酯 (DEHA)可用作医用级PVC管材中的增塑剂。
根据本公开的各种实施方案,内层、外层和中间层10、20和30可以由相同的基础聚合物树脂材料制成,但是中间层30可以包括光保护添加剂。光保护添加剂可以分散在或以其他方式包含在中间层的基础树脂材料中。在一些实施方案中,光保护添加剂可包括预定浓度的紫外(UV)光吸收剂。例如,所述光保护添加剂可以包括预定浓度的苯并三唑、二苯甲酮或三嗪或它们的组合中的至少一种。在一些实施方案中,光保护添加剂可包括预定浓度的蓝光吸收剂。

在一些实施方案中,中间层30的厚度小于内层10和外层20中每一个的厚度。例如,在一些实施方案中,内层和外层10和20可各自具有范围为0.2mm 至0.8mm,例如0.4mm至0.6mm的厚度。中间层可以具有为内层或外层的10%至90%的厚度,例如小于0.8mm,例如小于0.4mm或小于0.2mm的厚度。鉴于入射在管材100上的光的特定波长,中间层具有小于0.8至0.2mm的厚度的构造在增加中间层30的光阻挡或保护能力方面可能是有利的。例如,较薄的中间层可以提供更理想的入射在管材100上的光的特定波长的光的透射率。在一些实施方案中,内层、外层和中间层的组合厚度可以小于或等于0.8mm,其中中间层的厚度小于内层10和外层20中的每一个的厚度。此外,在一些实施方案中,本公开的管材可以具有从约1.5mm至约6mm,例如2mm至4mm范围内的流体流过的内径。
因此,将上述光保护添加剂或着色剂引入管材的中间层30中可有利地提供至少在250至450nm范围内的最小必要光保护能力,且具有最小90%阻挡或最小10%透射率。因此,可以保护在管材100中流动的光敏医用流体免受有害的光照射,否则可能会降解光敏医用流体和/或改变它们的化学组成,使得如果进入患者血液,它们可能对患者有害。
在一些实施方案中,中间层还可包括不透射线材料。不透射线材料可以有利地用作X射线敏感跟踪标记,以识别管材在人体中的位置。
在一些实施方案中,中间层还可包括条纹标识符。在某些方面,患者的身体在不同的位置连接有多个管材。例如,患者可具有静脉内(IV)管、皮下管、硬膜外管、饲管、动脉管线或管道、多条引流管线或管道中的一种或多种。在这些情况下,条纹标识符可以有利地对管材进行颜色编码以防止错误的药物进入身体的错误位置。颜色代码有助于确保药物或其他医用流体易于识别,并与相应管材的最终位置相关联。因此,可以避免与将错误药物递送到身体上错误位置相关联的严重不利影响。
根据本公开的各种实施方案,形成多层管材100的方法可包括将基础聚合物树脂材料共挤出成多层管材的内层10、外层20和中间层30。层10、20和30 可以共挤出使得外层20直接接触中间层30,中间层30继而沿着管长度直接接触内层10,而在外层20和内层10之间或内层10和中间层30之间没有连接层。形成多层管的方法还可包括在共挤出之前将具有预定浓度的光保护添加剂引入中间层30中。在一些实施方案中,光保护添加剂可包括紫外(UV)光吸收剂或蓝光吸收剂、着色剂或呈现黄色、琥珀色或棕色的着色剂的混合物、不透射线材料或条纹标识符中的一种或多种。
因此,本公开的各种实施方案在与内层或外层相反的中间层中引入活性添加剂,以最小化和避免如上所述的着色剂迁移到管的外表面的管测试失败。进一步有利地,本公开的各种实施方案在与内层或外层相反的中间层中引入活性添加剂,以减少与迁移到管腔中并导致被所施用的流体危险污染的添加剂相关的潜在风险。在将流体引入体内时,污染可能变得更加严重,并且可能发生由此导致的血液污染。
更有利的是,由于内层、外层和中间层由相同的聚合物基础材料制成,这些层更容易相容并且可以更容易融合在一起,从而避免或最小化在外层、内层和中间层之间包括粘合剂或连接层的需要,极大地简化并降低了制造此类管材的挤出工艺的成本。

根据本公开的各个方面,所述中间层被共挤出成厚度小于所述内层和外层的厚度。根据本公开的各个方面,所述中间层被挤出成小于0.8mm的厚度。根据本公开的各个方面,所述基础聚合物树脂材料包括聚氯乙烯、苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC)、聚烯烃、热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)、聚酯、聚醚、硅树脂HCR、EPDM/PP 或其他类似弹性体材料中的至少一种。根据本公开的各个方面,所述中间层还包括条纹标识符或不透射线材料中的至少一种。

Claims (12)

1.一种具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述管材包括内层、在内层周围并围绕内层同心布置的外层、以及介于内层和外层之间的中间层,其中所述中间层包括在其中包含的光保护添加剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述内层、所述外层和所述中间层由相同的基础树脂材料形成。
3.根据权利要求2所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述光保护添加剂包含在所述中间层的基础树脂材料中并且包含预定浓度的紫外(UV)光吸收剂或蓝光吸收剂中的一种。
4.根据权利要求2所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述基础树脂材料为增塑的聚氯乙烯。
5.根据权利要求2所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述基础树脂材料为聚氯乙烯、苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC)、聚烯烃、热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)、聚酯、聚醚、硅树脂HCR或EPDM/PP中的一种。
6.根据权利要求2所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述中间层还包含导致中间层呈现黄色、琥珀色或棕色的着色剂。
7.根据权利要求6所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述着色剂为偶氮染料、蒽醌染料、酞菁,二氧化钛、氧化铁和氧化铬中的一种。
8.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述内层和所述外层以沿着所述管材的长度与所述中间层直接接触的方式共挤出。
9.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述中间层的厚度小于所述内层或所述外层中的至少一层的厚度。
10.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述中间层的厚度大于所述内层或所述外层中的至少一层的厚度。
11.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述光保护添加剂包括UV光吸收剂,所述UV光吸收剂包括苯并三唑、二苯甲酮或三嗪中的一种。
12.根据权利要求1所述的具有含添加剂的中间层的多层管材,其特征在于所述中间层还包括条纹标识符或不透射线材料中的至少一种。
