Description
Background
The utility model discloses set forth from the equipment according to the general concept of embodiment.
Such devices are used in particular as operating and/or control devices in motor vehicles. For example, the device may be a door control unit which is arranged in an armrest of a vehicle door and is used for operating a power window and/or a power mirror adjustment.
Such a device has a housing. Inside the housing is a carrier plate for holding functionally relevant parts. The carrier plate is in turn arranged on at least one supporting element in the housing. It was found that due to manufacturing and/or assembly inaccuracies, the arrangement of the carrier plate in the housing is affected by tolerances, which in turn may lead to impairment of the functioning of the device.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The task of the invention is to further improve the device in such a way that this kind of functional impairment is prevented to a great extent.
This task is solved in a generic device by characterizing features of an embodiment.
An operating and/or control device for a motor vehicle, having a housing which comprises a base and a cover, and having a carrier plate which is located in the interior of the housing and is a printed circuit board which is provided for accommodating electrical and/or electronic components, which carrier plate is arranged on at least one supporting element which has a resilient design in the manner of a bellows, so that tolerance compensation is produced for the arrangement of the carrier plate in the housing, and which comprises two approximately W-shaped portions, the central tips of which form a support for the carrier plate, wherein the two W-shaped portions are connected to one another by means of a U-shaped portion, and wherein, in addition, the U-shaped portions are fastened to the base and/or integrated into the base, and a further external supporting element is provided for arranging the carrier plate.
In the device according to the invention, the supporting element is designed to be elastic. In particular, the bearing element is constructed in the manner of a spring element. This provides tolerance compensation for the arrangement of the carrier plate in the housing, so that manufacturing and/or assembly inaccuracies in the manufacture of the device are compensated for to a large extent. Further embodiments of the present invention are the subject of other examples.
The operating and/or control device typically comprises electronic circuitry. Suitably, a carrier plate may be provided for accommodating electrical and/or electronic components for forming an electronic circuit. In a cost-effective manner, the carrier board may be a printed circuit board. In further embodiments, the housing may include a base and a cover. In a simple manner, the support element can be attached to the base.
In a functionally safe manner, the supporting element can be designed in the manner of a bellows. Suitably, the support element may for this purpose have an approximately W-shaped cross-section. In a preferred manner, the central tip of the W-shaped portion (i.e. the tip of the W) may form a support for the support plate. In particular, a symmetrical embodiment can be chosen for the support element, since the support element comprises two approximately W-shaped portions. The two W-shaped portions may also be connected to each other by means of a U-shaped portion. For simplicity, it may then be convenient to attach the U-shaped portion to the base.
In a functionally safe manner, a further, in particular rigid, supporting element can be provided for arranging the bearing element. Furthermore, the support element can be formed integrally with the bearing element in a simple manner with regard to production technology.
The housing and/or the bearing element and/or the support element may be made of a thermoplastic material in a cost-effective manner. In a simple manner, the housing and/or the bearing element and/or the supporting element can be manufactured by injection molding. For ease of manufacture, the support element and/or the support element may be molded onto or integrated into the base. For this purpose, it may be particularly suitable for the supporting element and/or the supporting element to be molded onto and/or integrated into the base by means of 1K (one-component) injection molding or by means of 2K (two-component) injection molding. However, 1K injection molding offers advantages in terms of manufacturing cost and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the following is pointed out.
Tolerance compensation for the printed circuit board relative to the base of the housing is produced. In particular, the tolerance compensation element can be integrated in the base without the base having to be opened in terms of production technology. To this end, the base comprises a geometry similar to a bellows. The resulting elastic element is closed in itself, but flexible, so that the elasticity of the element can be used as tolerance compensation.
The advantages achieved by the invention lie in particular in that the carrier plate can be arranged in the housing in a stress-free manner. Thus, their functional and/or operational safety is improved. Furthermore, waste is reduced. The production of the elastic element for the support element on the base can be carried out by means of a tool without the need for an opening on the base. This ensures that the device passes ESD (electrostatic discharge) tests, so that an improvement in functional and/or operational safety can be determined.
Drawings
Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings with various additional embodiments and embodiments, and are described in more detail below. Shows that:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a device having a housing including a base and a cover; and
fig. 2 is the base viewed in direction II in fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a cross-section along line 3-3 in fig. 2.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a device 1, which is, for example, an operating and/or control device for a motor vehicle. The device 1 has a housing 2 on which an actuating element 3 is arranged for the user to operate and/or control a function of the motor vehicle. Inside the housing 2 there is a carrier plate 6 for accommodating electrical and/or electronic components 7 (see fig. 3) of the device 1. Thus, in a preferred manner, the carrier plate 6 is a printed circuit board.
The housing 2 comprises a base 4 and a cover 5. As can be seen from fig. 2, the cover 5 is attached to the base 4 by means of a latching element 11. Furthermore, an electrical connection 12 for the device 1 is arranged on the base 4. As can be seen in more detail in fig. 3, the support plate 6 is arranged on at least one support element 8. The support elements 8 attached to the base 4 and/or integrated in the base 4 are configured resiliently. That is, the bearing element 8 is constructed in the manner of a spring element, so that tolerance compensation for the arrangement of the carrier plate 6 in the housing 2 occurs. Furthermore, a further support element 9 is provided for arranging the carrier plate 6 in the housing 2. The supporting element 9 is in particular of rigid construction. In a preferred manner, the supporting element 9 is formed integrally with the bearing element 8.
As can be further seen from fig. 3, the support element 8 is constructed in the manner of a bellows. The support element 8 has an approximately W-shaped cross section, so that the support element 8 has a resilient design. The central tip 10 of the W-shaped portion 8' (i.e. the central tip 10 of the "W") thus forms a bearing for supporting the carrier plate 6. In a preferred manner, the bearing element 8 provides two adjacent support points 10 for the carrier plate 6, for which purpose the bearing element 8 comprises two approximately W-shaped portions 8', 8". The two W-shaped portions 8', 8 "are connected to each other by means of the U-shaped portion 8"'. The U-shaped portion 8 "' is in turn attached to the base 4 and/or integrated into the base 4. Furthermore, the support element 9 may also be attached to the base 4 and/or integrated into the base 4.
The housing 2 and/or the bearing element 8 and/or the support element 9 consist of a thermoplastic material. For simple and inexpensive production, it is suitable to produce the housing 2 and/or the bearing element 8 and/or the supporting element 9 by means of injection molding. Furthermore, the bearing element 8 and/or the supporting element 9 can then be integrated into the base 4 by means of 1K (one-component) injection molding or can be molded onto the base 4 in one operation by means of 2K (two-component) injection molding.
The invention is not limited to the embodiments described and illustrated. On the contrary, the invention also comprises further embodiments of all prior art within the scope of the invention as defined by the patent claims. Such elastically constructed supporting elements 8 can therefore be used not only for operating and/or control devices of motor vehicles, but also for computers, audio devices, video devices, machines and the like. In particular, the support element 8 may be used in the field of white goods and/or in the field of households, such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, electric tools, smart home control units, etc.
