In this first embodiment, the saddle type direct fitting has a body 1 of generally tubular shape having an outer diameter D (shown in FIG. 2) and one end which is also a generally tubular branch fitting end 11, the branch fitting end 11 having an inner diameter D (shown in FIG. 2) and a length z2 for receiving and engaging a branch pipe B (shown in FIG. 5, for example) therein.

The branch connection portion 211 has an internal thread 2110 for screwing with the branch pipe B to screw-fix the branch pipe B therein. The branch connection 211 may be made of plastic, and may be adapted to be screwed to the branch pipe B; or may be made of metal, such as brass, and may be threaded with the branch pipe B of any available material, such as plastic, metal, depending on the application.
The tubular shaped body 2 may also be provided with anti-slip formations 23, such as textures, patterns, ribs, etc.
Third embodiment
A third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a saddle type direct fitting with an externally threaded branch fitting end according to a third embodiment of the present invention, which may be used for a plastic pipe branch connection.

The tubular shaped body 3 may also be provided with anti-slip formations 33, such as textures, patterns, ribs, etc.
The connection process steps of an embodiment of the saddle direct joint of the present invention are described below.
