In other embodiments not shown in the drawings, the side panels of the outer carton may also be circumferentially closed, for example the outer carton may comprise two oppositely disposed first side sub-panels and two oppositely disposed second side sub-panels, the first and second side sub-panels forming respective side walls of the carton. A carton according to claim 2 wherein the carton is square and comprises two first oppositely disposed side walls and two second oppositely disposed side walls, the outer carton (10) comprises two first side flaps forming the two first side walls and two second side flaps perpendicularly connected at either end of the first side flaps respectively, a gap being provided between the two second side flaps at the same end and together with the second connecting web forming the second side wall.
6. The carton according to claim 1, further comprising a divider panel (40), wherein two ends of the divider panel (40) are configured to be connected to two opposing side walls of the carton, respectively.
7. The carton according to claim 1 further comprising a lid (30), the lid (30) being integral with the outer carton (10) and being for closing the carton.
8. A carton according to claim 7 wherein the lid (30) comprises first and second sub-lids, the first and second sub-lids being spliced to form the lid (30).
9. A carton according to claim 8 wherein the edge of the first sub-lid portion is provided with a first engaging tooth formation and the edge of the second sub-lid portion is provided with a second engaging tooth formation which cooperates with the first engaging tooth formation.
10. Carton according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom panel (13) comprises a bottom panel body and a connecting panel arranged bent upwards in relation to the bottom panel body.
